22 of us had our Christmas lunch in the hotel today. Everything was perfect. Reception staff welcomed us on our arrival, and when we ordered our drinks, Andy, the barman was so helpful. Our table was set up so that we could easily chat to those around us, and the view was amazing. Our food orders were taken promptly, and... More

I've stayed here a number of times but it had been over a year since my last visit. I checked trip advisor... as I always do before a stay in a hotel and was amazed by the bad feedback. Needless to say I booked anyway as always enjoyed my time in this hotel. Pleased to report nothing has changed, this... More

Hi, Attended the xmas party night. Room a wee bit tired looking but looked clean enough. Food was ok but service at the bar and for the meal was shocking. Didn't get sweat until 9:45pm. Measures at one point were served in pint tumblers due to lack of glasses and were dirty. Band were however first class and played a... More

we went here on Sat night to a Xmas party night. Hotel is very tired and in need of refurbishment. Food was the worst ever ! Tasteless soup, disgusting turkey with brick hard patatoes and cold veg. Sweet was even worse. One person serving at a very busy bar and by 9.30 pm no ice left. Breakfast was even worse... More

The hotel was good .. Good room.. Well furnished.. Good staff.. Was found to be welcoming... The location of the hotel was a problem wen I visited.. The roads around were closed and the postcode took me to some other place.. But finally managed to reach.. The road to the hotel is very dark with no street lights ..

Spent 2 nights D/BB at this great sited hotel overlooking Firth of Forth with views of the bridges spanning to the south shore. The staff are all ultra friendly and true professionals, a pleasure from the check in to check out. Thanks to all. Our room was large, the bed was bigger ! like 2 doubles put together. We arrived... The hotel is located close to the Forth Road Bridge with views of the new building works and river. Access is via a very muddy track due to the works and is a bit of a pain but hey let's get on to the hotel itself. Lovely receptionist, friendly and efficient, first impressions very good, restaurant off to one side... More

Fantastic 2 nights. Staff efficient and friendly. Room spacious and warm. Lovely large bathroom. Lots of parking. Restaurant food was excellent, great go have a choice of vegetarian dishes. All served by smiling friendly waitresses. Have been to this hotel many times and always had good service. Will certainly return.
