Must have sea view room - absorbing. Room a bit jaded while being all-over comfortable, clean, warm and reasonably appointed. B & B considered a bit pricey at £85. Restaurant food preparation and service very good. Design and ambience really reflects and complements the location. Would return.

We booked a sea view room for two nights for a relaxing break. We were in room no. 7, which was spacious & very comfortable. The room overlooked the beach & the tide came right in up to the window. We had our evening meal both nights in the bar as the dog was allowed in there. It was the... More

Spent Thursday 13th November in The Suite - it was superb, unfortunately the weather was atrocious but it didn't spoil our stay. Very comfortable and spacious suite, evening meal was excellent and breakfast in the morning brilliant. Hope to be back soon, as it used to be only a few miles from home in Glenrothes, but that was over 27... More

Have been on a golfing holiday, staying here. The rooms were clean, modern & comfortable. And that view! Seals were spotted one morning. Service throughout was good (accommodation and bar) The food was excellent. Fabulous breakfasts - The 'Scottish Breakfast' was a stupendous plateful, including black pudding, mealy pudding (often called white pudding) etc.etc. But the best for me was... More

We were fortunate enough to get a room here when we got into town late one night and didn't really realize how lucky we had been until the next morning when the sun came up. We were awakened by the sounds of the tide coming in. We grabbed our coffee and spent a very enjoyable hours watching the birds fish... More

We stopped at this hotel for lunch which was absolutely wonderful and great value so we decided to go back in the evening for dinner in the upstairs restaurant ---- what a change -- NO atmosphere and the lamb was tough as old boots ! We did go back for lunch and again it was superb and very reasonable

We have just spent a long weekend here so that we could attend the Knockhill race track to see the British Touring Car Championship. It was my first visit to Fife but it couldn't be better. First let me tell you about the view: I asked for a sea view (but have asked many hotels in the past for one... More

Beautiful little village and the Crusoe is in the best spot, right on the waterfront. We stayed in "the flat" at the top, which has amazing views but could do with a bit of maintainence if I'm honest. If the hotel tried to call itself anything more than 3* it would be wrong and we wouldn't have rated it so... More

Really enjoyed our visit to The Crusoe. Room was very comfortable, very quiet with sound of the sea outside our window. Staff were very friendly and the food was high quality. Would recommend to anyone!

My partner and I stopped for lunch at the Crusoe Hotel whilst on a days outing on the coast. We were so glad we did. The setting is fabulous with seating on the pier overlooking the harbour and the beach. The staff were friendly and efficient even although they were very busy. This is obviously a popular venue. We ordered... More
