We stayed at Ochil Villa for three nights as we were attending a friend's wedding at nearby Fernie castle. We arrived to a warm welcome from Colin the owner and his two dogs Apache and Shade (border collie crosses) and were treated to a cup of tea and some home made bread - and that set the tone for the rest of the stay. There are two rooms, both downstairs and with a shared bathroom. They are really well appointed rooms, the bed was really comfortable and they provided a kettle, TV, hair dryer, dressing gown and slippers as well as towels. The location is good, if remote: Freuchie is a tiny village with a shop and a pub, although Falkland about 40 mins walk away (or a 10 minute bus ride) has some interesting sights to see including a Stewart hunting palace, and we climbed the Lomond Hills as well.
