Great little inn. We arrived very late after our flight was delayed to Edinburgh and the owner was more than happy to wait up for us if needed. The bedrooms were clean and very comfortable and the breakfast more than adequate. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The food & hospitality second to none a warm welcome & nothing too much trouble for this landlord & wife team. Who in the short while they've been there are bringing back the shine to this hostelry. Sometimes you think you will write a review but this is a must on this occasion! From calling for a booking, to adding to the booking, to our welcome on arrival and check in - I cannot speak highly enough. The hotel is a little tired and needing a bit of an upgrade but that was insignificant. The place was... More

The Landlady (very friendly) looked after our haversacks after we had booked out so we could visit Palace. Very Pleasant stay.

My family popped into The Bruce Inn on Sunday 4th May & what a pleasant surprise compared to the last time we visited for lunch. This time we were greeted with a lovely lady called Sandra & the service we received was second to none. We were served before from a grumpy lady with a ponytail who smelled of cigarette... More
