This is only a review of the restaurant: we didn't stay in the hotel. We were seeing an old friend of mine from Secondary School who lived nearby (hadn't seen him for over 20 years but we caught up very easily) and we suggested going to a pub - his choice - for lunch. It was a great choice, too.... More

Have just come home from YET ANOTHER WONDERFUL STAY at The Bruce Inn. Even Later arriving in Falkland than last time (1:15 am) and Our Greeting was as Warm and Friendly as ever. Breakfast time was arranged to suit us (after our late arrival) and it was Even Better than we had remembered. A LOVELY, COSY, FRIENDLY place and I... More

Went to see Falkland Palace but didn't realise it is closed till late March. Our time wasn't wasted as we decided to have lunch while we were there. Although there are number of eateries in Falkland we decided to lunch at The Bruce Inn which is situated directly across from the Palace. It was a good decision as the food... More

My partner and his colleagues stayed here for a week for work in December. Rooms were excellent. Thoroughly looked after. The breakfast choice was amazing, always felt welcome by all. Would have no hesitation to return. Great value for money. The evening meals in the restaurant gave good choice, were very generous and good value. Would recommend.

Lovely quaint pub. With great pub grub. Best mac cheese I've had in a long time. Lovely crisp chips and great fresh salad to accompany meals. My husband had the vegi burger (yes we are vegetarians) and he was pleased with it and especially liked the accompanying crisp opinion rings.

This is our second stay at this Inn as before the food was excellent and the locals make you feel like one of there own. We were lucky to have a lovely large room just to ourselves which was warm and comfortable. As before nothing was too much trouble and if you feel like a walk to work off the... More
