I visited for 5 days and nights and had a very enjoyable time. The newly refurbished room was extrememly elegant and comfortable. Very clean and the staff were all helpful and very pleasant. The food was delicious, cooked by the proprietor herself. The hotel bar and retaurant are used by many local people and they made the atmosphere even better.... more

Carpets not fitted appropriately, broken catch on the windows, dubious decor... OK, it was comfortable and clean and in a good location. So wouldn't have minded about all that, its a 2* hotel - But £95 a night for this was bordering on the offensive... The hotel seems to cash in on location and the fact that there were no... more
