Stayed at beginning of August - both rooms fine - decoration a bit odd - unreal views and good breakfast. Be sure to take a tour of the beautiful garden and enjoy the lounge although the bar does not appear to operate currently. If you are a bit tight assed go somewhere else as the owner's son is not. Extremely... More

My wife and I stayed one night in early June. We wandered in, and were immediately charmed by the place. Cozy parlor with piano and fireplace, great views of the ocean from the tables in front of the windows. Our room was fabulous, huge with expansive views of the ocean and a terrific window seat for lounging. Morgan fixed a... More

Just home from 1 night stay in the Marine Hotel. Lovely welcome. Okay the hotel isn't the Ritz but Morgan was very friendly and chilled. We have a dog which a lot of Hotels don't accept and even she was welcomed. Room wasn't 5 star but bed was clean and shower hot .Great view as we had room at the... More

If i could rate this hotel as less than terrible i would. From the second you walk up to the front door the warning signs are clear. What looks like either an old fishing boat or a very old rowing boat with a canopy that hasn't seen a lick of paint or any TLC for years has a sign saying... More

My husband and i stayed at the marine Hotel for 1 night. The smell hit you as soon as you enter. Very dark dingy.. grubby carpets that's before you get to your room. your room the least said the better. Hairs in bath. The sea view could only be seen if we opened window because glass needs replacing it was... More

Stayed Friday 28th and Saturday 29th March. On arrival the owner Morgan helped us with our bags from the car. Room was not ready (we were early 11.00am) but no issue leaving our bags whilst we went off to golf. There is a fridge in the guest lounge area where you can leave your wine or beer to chill as... Talk about customer service, this was excellent. We stayed out of season in November after being warned that this was a 'dodgy B&B'. Quirky it was, dodgy not. We had an extremely enjoyable stay. It was nice to be welcomed by the owner, Morgan, who asked what we would like for breakfast and it was perfectly served, fresh and tasty,... More

We arrived at 8pm only to find breakfast had already been set! So efficient is the eccentric owner Morgan. Nooks and crannies are filled with unusual objects to look at and the rooms are comfortable and light. Most have wonderful views of the sea and there is the sound of waves lapping at night. At least we think it was... More

Writing a review for this one is tough. It was a weird but pleasurable stay. On the one hand the family room/suite we had was a good size and ideal layout for the five of us, but the hotel is a cross between Fawlty Towers and a bizarre movie set. The hotel team were rather eccentric and disorganised but Morgan... More
