We loved our stay at the Hazelton Guest House. We were a group of three (traveling with my husband and father-in-law) and booked two rooms for two nights. Owners David & Karen are kind, friendly, helpful, and make an excellent breakfast! Crail is only a short drive form Edinburgh (1.5 hrs) and a perfect spot to explore all of Fife—we... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our whey to the Northern part of Scotland. The B & B is fabulous , David and Karen are very welcoming, and gave us great information on how to see the area. Driving was a bit of a challenge for us the first day and they guided us on how to use the... More

This is a very well-run and welcoming B & B, centrally located, with clean and comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. Nice touches like delicious home-made goodies and fresh flowers from garden in room. Good value too - we would highly recommend it.

One of the best B&B's we have stayed in with wonderful hosts who were so friendly and welcoming from the minute you walked through the door. They shook hands and introduced their selves, had a wee chat with us and then we were shown to our room.. David even helped with the bags.. We stayed three nights in a lovely... More

Quite simply the Best B&B we have stayed in during our many visits to Scotland. We were taking our daughter back to University, and normally stay in St Andrews, but having read the reviews on The Hazelton decided to stay there instead. David and Karen are warm and generous hosts, the property is beautifully decorated, and the Breakfast was superb... More

David and Karen made special this amazing guesthouse! Very warm and friendly, you feel like at home, or even better, at old friend's home! Breakfast is really fantastic very well cooked and a lot of suggestion where to go. Also some toys for our kids, absolutely not usual in Scotland!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Hazelton, and had such a lovely time. Karen and David are the perfect hosts -- very friendly but never intrusive, always helpful and cheery. The house is beautifully decorated and so cozy. We stayed in the top floor room, which has the most wonderful sea view. I just stayed in bed as... More

Warmly welcomed by proprietors Karen and David, a pleasure to stay in this comfortable and well cared for home. Very clean, lots of little extras like flowers in the room, exquisitely perfumed hand wash/ lotion dispensers, shortbread nibbles, discreetly placed scented sachets in the spacious wardrobe. Breakfast a treat of locally produced fare, with very tasty scrambled free range eggs.... More
