We had a great time at the Sheiling, the host lady is wonderful, full of good tips about activities and locations in the area. Her breakfast is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Do the coastal walk from Anstruther to Crail if the weather allows it - its wonderful :)

We had a lovely time at The Sheiling! Very nice rooms, clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast, great hosts! The b&b looks like not in the very centre or Anstruther but it's actually very close to the harbour, just ask the hosts for the shortest way :) Highly recommended.

I stayed here whilst doing the Fife Coastal Path. Bunty is a very nice lady and offers comfortable accommodation in a very nice location. Not the cheapest I felt for a shared bathroom, but it's probably in keeping with the area prices. Breakfast was really nice and had a nice chat with the family that stayed the same evening. If... An excellent B&B - just what all B&Bs should be. Very friendly (and yet not overwhelming) owners. Spotlessly clean. Quiet and comfortable. Great breakfast (the homemade jam is amazing!). Dont be put off by the lack of ensuite - there are only two rooms, and you get a sink in your room. For £50, if you are looking for a... More

We were let down by our booked accommodation, the only time in a month's travel, so late afternoon found us in the tourist travel information desk, at the Maritime Museum. Our main wish was for a quiet but central location, we were sent to The Sheiling to have a look...thought we were going back in time...a real home with a... More

The Sheilling is an absolute treasure. The room was darling and the bed was incredible - I have never slept on such soft, luxurious sheets in my life. The location was ideal and our hostess was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I travel a great deal for pleasure and were thrilled to find this lovely B&B. We will... More

I have just returned from a 2night stay at "The Sheiling" bed & breakfast, Anstruther and where do I start. When you arrive you will receive a lovely welcome from Bunty. Our double room was very cosy and very clean and you had a sink in your room. We had tea/coffee making facilities in our room and some lovely little... More
