This hotel/restaurant punches well above its weight. The food was excellent and the staff incredibly obliging and cheerful. Didn't need a long spoon to sup with these Fifers! Well-situated for the Fisheries museum and, shh, the Secret Bunker. St Andrews and the Eden Brewery are not too far away.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here during my tour of scotland. The single room I stayed appeared to have been recently remodeled and was excellent. I also stayed in a double room, and though not to the same standard, was still nice. Both were spotlessly clean and pet free. The toiletries offered in the bathrooms were very nice and the tea/coffee... More

Myself and my wife have been here before and to the sister hotel the Bank. The waterfronts rooms are clean tidy, comfortable, and modern with a flat screen TV on the wall. The breakfast at the restaurant is to die for it has such a good selection......I had the full scottish on the Saturday morning it was just fantastic. My... More

Booked this offer to get away for a break before Christmas and get away from the madness that is life. We had to change the days due to the good lady having a Christmas night out on the Friday. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night. All the rooms are to the rear of the Waterfront restaurant and all seem to... More

During my tour of Scotland in the early fall of 2014, I attempted to book a room at a b&b in Edinburgh. However, due to a European Tour golf tournament, my search was unsuccessful. Instead, I found lodging at the Waterfront in Anstruther and, in retrospect, believe it was the better option. Anstruther is a picturesque village on the coast... More

Stayed one night midweek at the Waterfront. All the rooms appear to be behind the main building so no sea view. This is more of a restaurant with rooms rather than an hotel. There is no reception or lounge area. Check in is at the bar in the restaurant. Nevertheless, after being taken to our room, we found it to... More

Stayed 2 nights here with hubby, through an Itison deal; which consisted of an evening meal the first night and two breakfasts. Dinner was lovely, we were able to choose from the A la carte menu which had a great choice. Breakfasts were lovely, with plenty to choose from. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large... More

My wife and I went to this hotel for a two night Itison voucher visit. We had researched through Trip Adviser and we're pleased to see it had received good reviews. The accomodation was very comfortable with full range of toiletries, coffee and tea and a bottle of wine in the room , the wine was part of the deal... More

We visited here at 4.35pm on Saturday 15th November and asked the young girl who met us at the door if we could just have 2 coffees for half an hour. There was only 5 people in the restaurant with another 3 people behind us at the door The young girl went off towards the bar only to be told... More
