I have stayed here a few times. They have never ever let me down. The rooms are well finished and very comfortable. The restaurant is first class, and I love their breakfasts. This is a must stay if you are in the area, and fantastic value.

Stayed here for a short three-night break this week. This is our third stay at this delightful restaurant cum hotel and each time our experience has been excellent in terms of rooms, facilities, food, service and value. Our room in the what used to be Bakehouse was more like an apartment - there was so much space and whilst at... More

Very comfortable hotel, nice room with a good bath. Very clean, staff helpful and friendly. An excellent breakfast is included. We had fresh smoked salmon, which was very tasty. The hotel is right on the waterfront, with some rooms offering a view of the harbor. It's also quiet, with rooms off a pretty courtyard. You can walk around the town,... More

Eight of us just dropped in, they managed to accommodate us on two tables without batting an eyelid. Most of the party had fish and chips, that's why we had come to Anster, but being wheat free I had few otions, ending up with the hake and chorizo with stir fried veg, smelled delicious but did not live up to... This hotel/restaurant punches well above its weight. The food was excellent and the staff incredibly obliging and cheerful. Didn't need a long spoon to sup with these Fifers! Well-situated for the Fisheries museum and, shh, the Secret Bunker. St Andrews and the Eden Brewery are not too far away.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here during my tour of scotland. The single room I stayed appeared to have been recently remodeled and was excellent. I also stayed in a double room, and though not to the same standard, was still nice. Both were spotlessly clean and pet free. The toiletries offered in the bathrooms were very nice and the tea/coffee... More

Booked this offer to get away for a break before Christmas and get away from the madness that is life. We had to change the days due to the good lady having a Christmas night out on the Friday. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night. All the rooms are to the rear of the Waterfront restaurant and all seem to... More

During my tour of Scotland in the early fall of 2014, I attempted to book a room at a b&b in Edinburgh. However, due to a European Tour golf tournament, my search was unsuccessful. Instead, I found lodging at the Waterfront in Anstruther and, in retrospect, believe it was the better option. Anstruther is a picturesque village on the coast... More
