This very attractive establishment provides as good food as you could hope for. The whole room is beautifully furnished with gleaming glasses and cutlery. The service excellent. The afternoon teas are excellent especially the large pancakes. Both luncheon and dinners are not to be rushed through as the portions are generous to put it mildly. When we were last there... More

Just back from a wonderful 2 night stay at The Waterfront. The setting is beautiful, the staff were excellent, the accommodation is fantastic and the restaurant food is divine. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Lovely place, lovely staff, food excellent and best smoked fish I've ever had ;) we've been popping in here for over 15 years, still love it. There's accommodation also which is lovely and very child friendly. Lots of little shops etc close by, definitely recommend it.

I'm not a big fan of battered fish, so I chose the seabass with a selection of lovely vegetables (red cabbage, mange tout and carrot mash) and couldn't have been happier with my meal. My husband had a starter of cullen skink which was exceptionally good, followed by one of the many sandwiches. We were both delighted. There is plenty... More

Had fantastic fish and chips and my husband had Fish Pie. Both were excellent as was the service. Fish and Chips just as good as its more famous neighbour! The Restaurant is right on the sea front and has excellent views of the harbour. It is possible to eat outside in good weather.

It had been many years since I visited the pretty coastal town of Anstruther "known as Enster" to the locals. We booked the well praised Waterfront hotel and were not disappointed. The room was, in line with the rest of the hotel, quirky and very agreeable, as the name suggests, on the waterfront. We enjoyed wandering around the village which... More

The restaurant was fairly busy, but the service was fast and efficient and friendly, the food was very good and reasonably priced The restaurant is situated right on the sea front and so has a great view The waterfront has rooms, but we were not staying

Perfect Location right in the heart of Fife Coast and exquisite Anstruther (pronounce Anster) Harbour. Rooms most spic and span clean! staff discreet but efficient. Very calm although in Town center. Restaurant very good a la carte (affordable) Lots of boutiques for shopping on the Harbour try the journey to the isle of May or just enjoy a nice latte... More
