Very friendly reception. Room and service excellent. Breakfast was better than in many "upmarket" hotels. Would have no hesitation in recommending The Spindrift. We were very pleased that we had chosen this Guest House.

We stayed at The Spindrift on 12th August. We stayed at the Captain's room, which was very small and had only a very small TV, but a nice bathroom. The room and all the areas in the guesthouse were very clean. Dogs are welcome, which we, although dog lovers and dog owners, didn't like very much, there was a large... More

Stayed for 2 nights back in March and must say its the loveliest place I have stayed. Warm welcome and felt at home straight away which was lovely as I was travelling alone. Nothing was to much trouble and the breakfast service was excellent. The room itself was spotless and provided everything you could possibly need. Looking forward to staying... More

Stayed for first time and was made very welcome by Christine and Ken The attention to detail was unsurpassed by anywhere I have stayed before. The entire place was spotless but homely too. We stayed for the evening meals everything was delicious and plentiful. I've never liked porridge but was persuaded to try it because Ken has won awards for... More

Able to check in early and get settled in, with a warm welcome from Ken, who showed us around. Spotlessly clean room with lots of extras like up to date magazines and luxury toiletries. Room had lovely view over the fields and very effective double glazing, so no trouble sleeping. Great breakfast in the morning from Christine which set us... More

We received a warm welcome from Christine. She was very accomodating of our 1 year old daughter and made preparations in advance for our visit, such as space for a high chair at breakfast and clearing space for a travel cot. We couldn't have asked for better service throughout. We only stayed one night so couldn't get to enjoy this... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience Welcome, accommodation, food. Could not ask for any better. Christine and Ken have created a very special place for a 'Break away' in the Kingdom of Fife. Will certainly be one of the many repeat guests.

On arriving at The Spindrift you are immediately welcomed as a guest. Within a few minutes you realise the ambience is something special. A brightly lit reception hallway. Two cheery Scottish welcomes from the owners. Shown the lovely warm and comfy lounge with a well stocked 'honesty bar'. Directed to a spotlessly clean and beautifully traditionally furnished en suite room.... More

It was, for us, another wonderful stay at The Spindrift. Ken and Christine are great hosts and their staff excellent. Local produce is used as far as possible and we benefited from that. We look forward to another return visit.
