The standards at the Spindrift are of the highest quality, it is exceptionally clean, the rooms are very comfortable and include additions you would be pleased to find in a very expensive hotel. The food was beautifully cooked and served. I would recommend this Guest House without reservation. more

My boyfriend and I decided to stay here for a last minute weekend break away from the city and it was perfect. The Spindrift was fantastic, the owners were lovely, friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our whole stay. We were in the Captains room which we thought was wonderful as we like boaty things and enjoyed the story about the... more

Ken and Christine are delightful hosts, they make you feel welcome and "at home" and all their efforts were reflected in the relaxed atmosphere we enjoyed during our stay. The food was excellent, room attractive and comfortable. Each room had individual detail and nothing was cloned. The breakfast was an unforgetable experience and set you up for the day. Rich... more

Ken and Christine are delightful hosts and all their efforts were reflected in the relaxed atmosphere we enjoyed during our stay. The food was excellent, room attractive and comfortable, young local staff well trained and any shortcomings they had were far outweighed by their youthful charm. Hope no-one reads this - we want to back!! more

Although situated at the outskirts of a remote little town, this is the 1 place to stay. Rates at similar level than its competitors. Feeling at home immediately. Warm and caring host and hostess (personal care at entry and breakfast). Nicely decorated rooms with new bathrooms. We liked it very much... more

We were very surprised by the great hospitality of the owners. During our trip in Scotland we have never found a better B&B. Wonderfully decorated, nice & warm with all the facilities people could possibly want. If you have the change, stay there! more

I offer small group tours in Scotland and we use the Spindrift quite often. The house is beautiful and very well run. We usually have dinner as well and the it is always very well presented and delicious! The rooms are well appointed and feel like home. What I like the best about visiting the Spindrift is that I do... more

We have stayed at the Spindrift twice and both times have had a fantastic stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean and modern with luxurious towels and bed linen, which you would normally expect to find in a 5 star hotel, not in a bed and breakfast/guest house. The house has a lovely homely feel to it and the owners make... more
