A group of 8 of us stayed here in 4 different rooms and we all agreed it was a great hotel. Ocean views and breeze, comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. The breakfast which is included in your room price had fresh raspberries and strawberries with a selection of yoghurts and cereals plus hot breakfast options with tea and espresso coffee... More

We had some beers at the Bank bar in September 2014 while watching the Ryder Cup. The bartenders were friendly and helpful in selecting your beer. I really enjoyed the St. Andrew's Ale. I would definitely visit this bar again.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Bank during the October school holidays. Our break could not have been better. The accomodation was super. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. The kids room had a great view of the river and sea. Food was very tasty. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The... More

What a lovely chilled place to stay and enjoy. You get your own key/door to accommodation and come and go as you please-great rooms with big comfy beds, fantastic showers and great smelling toiletries. We had a very special sea view, there is a small and relaxing residents garden, a dining room conservatory with highly recommended menu-I have nothing negative... More

We had an enormous room with very nice furnishings plus 45" tv. Food good with seaview from dining area. Excellent value all round. There was some noise from the from the front of the hotel as Scotland had played a Euro qualifier one night but it didnt disturb us too much.

As part of our honeymoon tour around Sctoland and before returning to Edinburgh, we decided to stay one night in Anstruther in a beautiful hotel which used to be a bank. The location is great and the building itself is superb. The staff was helpful and the food/drinks we had were great. The problem started when we went to bed... More

Stayed just the one night with my daughter and arrived early evening. The Bank does not have a receptionist and we had to go next door to the pub to gain access. The barmaid took us to our rooms and showed us the facilities and told us we needed to go back to the pub for our breakfast. Our room... More

My partner and I stayed at the Bank for 2 nights in August. What made The Bank for me was the amazing quality of the food, and the staff, who were all always cheerful and helpful. It is a welcoming place to be when everyone from the housekeeping to the bar staff smile and say hello. Upon arriving we were... More
