Stayed just the one night with my daughter and arrived early evening. The Bank does not have a receptionist and we had to go next door to the pub to gain access. The barmaid took us to our rooms and showed us the facilities and told us we needed to go back to the pub for our breakfast. Our room... More

My partner and I stayed at the Bank for 2 nights in August. What made The Bank for me was the amazing quality of the food, and the staff, who were all always cheerful and helpful. It is a welcoming place to be when everyone from the housekeeping to the bar staff smile and say hello. Upon arriving we were... More

The Bank is a superb example of what a hotel should be. A friendly welcome and a quick and efficient check-in. A beautiful, spacious room furnishd to perfection and a bathroom superbly equipped. Delicious food and one of the best breakfasts we have ever enjoyed. We very much look forward to our next stay!!!

It was a family get together so we had 7 rooms in the hotel, all the rooms were beautiful, really large beds, spotlessly clean and tasty breakfast with loads of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, no hesitation to recommend to anyone visiting that area, will certainly be back.

What a great hotel, good location and very personal. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel most welcome. Our room was huge, luxurious and very comfortable. My only complaint would be the noise from the road however this stopped through the wee small hours. We ate dinner and breakfast here and both were well... More

First time in Anstruther, wanted to watch a bit of Scottish Open and World Cup Final in a good pub/diner, staff were very helpful and friendly, food was excellent, I had Sea Bass and girlfriend had steak both excellent, Craft Pilsener was also very nice. If you're in Anstruther pay it a visit.

Food was brilliant with fast and friendly service. Price could be a bit cheaper but was worth it. Spicy chicken was magic the home made cheese cake is to Die for. I would recommend it to anyone going that way soon.

We stayed at the Bank and had asked for a sea view but they were all taken so we were given a room at ground level which was lovely, large and very modern. Our only problem was when the Smugglers bar closed and a couple of drunks decided to stand and talk/curse outside our window they also succeeded in knocking... More

The Bank's recent refurbishment has brought it up to being a serious contender for attracting both guests and passers through, seeking a pleasant atmosphere, and good food, without excluding "Locals." It's attractive and very clean outside appearance does much to add to this delightful fishing village. I was pondering on that "Certain Style" as I sat in its delightful Beer... More
