What a great hotel, good location and very personal. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel most welcome. Our room was huge, luxurious and very comfortable. My only complaint would be the noise from the road however this stopped through the wee small hours. We ate dinner and breakfast here and both were well... More

First time in Anstruther, wanted to watch a bit of Scottish Open and World Cup Final in a good pub/diner, staff were very helpful and friendly, food was excellent, I had Sea Bass and girlfriend had steak both excellent, Craft Pilsener was also very nice. If you're in Anstruther pay it a visit.

Food was brilliant with fast and friendly service. Price could be a bit cheaper but was worth it. Spicy chicken was magic the home made cheese cake is to Die for. I would recommend it to anyone going that way soon.

We stayed at the Bank and had asked for a sea view but they were all taken so we were given a room at ground level which was lovely, large and very modern. Our only problem was when the Smugglers bar closed and a couple of drunks decided to stand and talk/curse outside our window they also succeeded in knocking... More

This fish was lovely too. Our breakfast was also brilliant. Staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much bother. We had a... More

The Bank's recent refurbishment has brought it up to being a serious contender for attracting both guests and passers through, seeking a pleasant atmosphere, and good food, without excluding "Locals." It's attractive and very clean outside appearance does much to add to this delightful fishing village. I was pondering on that "Certain Style" as I sat in its delightful Beer... More

Stayed 2 nights and found staff and hotel were above our expectations. Had a room overlooking the water which was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely. Position excellent, for walking to village and coastal walkway. Highly recommended.

We are frugal senior citizens who would rather invest in longer trips over luxury hotel rooms, but we loved The Bank. The staff was friendly and helpful and our Room #1 was huge with a comfortable bed, table and chairs and lovely views. I succumbed to the 'spa' bath after nothing more strenuous than photographing puffins on the Isle of... More
