What a lovely chilled place to stay and enjoy. You get your own key/door to accommodation and come and go as you please-great rooms with big comfy beds, fantastic showers and great smelling toiletries. We had a very special sea view, there is a small and relaxing residents garden, a dining room conservatory with highly recommended menu-I have nothing negative... More

We had an enormous room with very nice furnishings plus 45" tv. Food good with seaview from dining area. Excellent value all round. There was some noise from the from the front of the hotel as Scotland had played a Euro qualifier one night but it didnt disturb us too much.

As part of our honeymoon tour around Sctoland and before returning to Edinburgh, we decided to stay one night in Anstruther in a beautiful hotel which used to be a bank. The location is great and the building itself is superb. The staff was helpful and the food/drinks we had were great. The problem started when we went to bed... More

Stayed just the one night with my daughter and arrived early evening. The Bank does not have a receptionist and we had to go next door to the pub to gain access. The barmaid took us to our rooms and showed us the facilities and told us we needed to go back to the pub for our breakfast. Our room... More

My partner and I stayed at the Bank for 2 nights in August. What made The Bank for me was the amazing quality of the food, and the staff, who were all always cheerful and helpful. It is a welcoming place to be when everyone from the housekeeping to the bar staff smile and say hello. Upon arriving we were... More

The Bank is a superb example of what a hotel should be. A friendly welcome and a quick and efficient check-in. A beautiful, spacious room furnishd to perfection and a bathroom superbly equipped. Delicious food and one of the best breakfasts we have ever enjoyed. We very much look forward to our next stay!!!

It was a family get together so we had 7 rooms in the hotel, all the rooms were beautiful, really large beds, spotlessly clean and tasty breakfast with loads of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, no hesitation to recommend to anyone visiting that area, will certainly be back.

What a great hotel, good location and very personal. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel most welcome. Our room was huge, luxurious and very comfortable. My only complaint would be the noise from the road however this stopped through the wee small hours. We ate dinner and breakfast here and both were well... More

First time in Anstruther, wanted to watch a bit of Scottish Open and World Cup Final in a good pub/diner, staff were very helpful and friendly, food was excellent, I had Sea Bass and girlfriend had steak both excellent, Craft Pilsener was also very nice. If you're in Anstruther pay it a visit.
