My mother and I recently traveled to Scotland, and stayed here on our final night, as it was an easy drive to the airport in Edinburgh the next day. We decided to stay in Aberdour at the end of our short tour of Scotland, we had been to Aberdour before but had never stayed at the Forth View. If it's boutique chic you are looking for then this is not the place for you but if you are looking for an antidote to the stresses of 21st century life then this family run hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable with tea, coffee and locally made buiscuits. The majority of rooms have the most wonderful views... more

This Hotel is on a promontary overlooking the Firth of Forth across to Edinburgh...The rooms are comfy but not slick...ie. TV not needed...the view is enough. The hotel has a Seafood retaurant called Room with a View and the food is exellent. The folks friendly. The hotel also overlooks the small village of Aberdour with harbour and wonderful blue flag... more
