We stayed here as we were attending a function at Ross priory. The house was immaculate and the owners were fantastic-they couldn't do enough for us. Fire in lounge was kept lit at all times, offering a cosy welcome and Paul and Maybel were absolute fantastic hosts; very friendly and extremely accommodating. No hesitation in recommending here-would definitely stay again.... More

My husband and I planned a driving holiday through Scotland starting from the Scottish border up to the Northern Highlands. This is the first place we stayed. Easy to find and as soon as we arrived we felt very welcome. The hosts gave us time to settle in but were on hand immediately when we required anything. Nothing was too... More

Enjoyed our recent overnight stay at this delightful B&B. Very well looked after by our hosts, comfortable and welcoming surroundings and good food, what more could we ask for? Situated in a beautiful part of rural Scotland yet close enough to the city if that's your thing. Lots to see and do locally.

Hosts Paul and Mabel share a very nice, locally known place to view Loch Lomond that is not in guidebooks. You'll have to stay there to find out where it is. Close to Glengoyne Distillery, where Rosie and David shared their knowledge. Central to other Loch Lomond places of interest and The Trossachs.

Dunno what you expect from BB but for me it usually is what it says on a tin - bed and a breakfast. Not here though! Firstly it's not, like in most cases, a case of nice pics online but the reality well behind. Here it's beyond expectations - it's new, modern but carefully (and well!) blended into the cottage-y... Having had this B and B booked for us by a prospective alternative host, we were most pleasantly surprised. It was perfectly located, not far off our route north, and we were welcomed by a roaring fire in the communal lounge and a pot of real tea (ideal on a drizzly afternoon after a 7 hour drive through storm and... We stayed here in April on our way to Skye. A very comfortable and welcoming place to stay - for us and for our dog. No dramatic views but there are plenty of those around to enjoy during the day. Ask for the local tea rooms where you'll find delicious cake. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from an eight-night stay here during the Commonwealth Games and by the end it was beginning to feel like home. Paul and Mabel were very welcoming and friendly, giving us suggestions of where to go on our 'days off' and recommending places to eat. Our bedroom was comfortable and the large guest lounge an added bonus.... More

Lovely accommodation and very welcoming. Friendly owners who gave us ideas of activities to do within the area and even phoned up to book our boat trip for us. The breakfast was really tasty and presented nicely. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
