We stayed one night at this small but beautiful hotel in Jan 2014. It was a particularly cold weekend and unfortunately this is my lasting memory of the hotel, it was freezing! We could not have stayed 2 nights, particularly as there wasn't any hot water for a shower the next morning. The heating kept going off, although the staff... More

Stayed here over the weekend in a tower suite, which I splurged on for my birthday. The room was beautiful and huge and the bed was super comfortable. Had a brilliant sleep. The hotel gets points for having an ipod/ iphone docking station, robes in the wardrobe, bottled water to drink, nice teas and coffees in the rooms and many... More

My husband bought us a one night stay to Dungiven Castle on Groupon. Before we went I read the reviews on here, and I have to say a lot of the negative remarks are quite unfair! With work we have stayed in hotels around the world, and it's so refreshing to go somewhere with such character. The staff are so... More

My husband and I were very happy with our stay at the castle. It was a convent location because you could walk in the city to explore but we stayed at the hotel and ate dinner both nights of our stay. The restaurant had wonderful food so we just stayed in both nights. I highly suggest the onion rings. It... More

We arrived to the hotel and had a lovely warm welcome by the staff. The castle was amazing and the views were beyond anything we could have hoped for! The building itself was smaller than we had expected but this really created a warm and welcoming feel for the hotel. The room itself was very spacious, well designed and the... More

This hotel looks amazing on the website (and on several of the booking websites I checked before I booked) but the truth of the matter was entirely different and was the reason for my utter disappointment. The hotel has the potential to be a really classy establishment but was very let down by the plastic floral arrangements, the faux knight... More

We had a meal here twice on Sunday evenings, the last time on the 16th. Feb. You enter past a forlorn looking marquee. On entry there is a plastic knight in armour and a general faux medieval theme. The bar is cold and uninviting, in fact on the last occasion someone opened the outside door on a snowy night and it... This is a must see and stay experience in a unique castle. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with a warm welcome. The staff are superb, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the bridal suite complete with its own turret, and all we can say is truly amazing (wow). The food was excellent. The views... More

We stayed here on Saturday 1st February with a Living Social voucher. We found the fooms comforable, staff friendly and helpful. We had a great meal in the resturant. The prawns and garlic mushrooms were great as were the steak and salmon for the main course and the cheesecake is delicous, a must have. We had drinks afterwards in the... More
