We returned to the Old Inn last August for our 11th stay since 2005 (first time in the Bay Tree room) and were not disappointed. Since I covered everything thoroughly in my previous review (read it and see!), I don't want to repeat myself. The Bay Tree is a lovely split-level superior suite, complete with antique spinning wheel and a... More

Excellent place with a good history. Lovely place to have your wedding reception. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained despite age of the hotel. Food is consistently good. Disabled access and free wifi make it a great visit.

started off well, room beautiful, staff very friendly but they were hosting a wedding and guess what we were directly over the function room but it seemed reasonable noise the early part of the night. we tried to book a meal and 8.45pm was the only time we could get, that's when I felt things went pear shaped.. our meal... Booked here as a last minute treat, it's close to home so I know the place well and I had my own expectations. Well my expectations were blown away, it was first class, everything, the suite, the bar food, the outside space, quality of furnishing, the staff and finally the breakfast. In fact it was so lovely we are going... More

Firstly the owners are charming and very helpful. The food served is of a very high standard indeed (portions could be little bigger though). Charming surroundings and kind, friendly staff. Beautiful light fires everywhere. Would return without hesitation whatsoever Good work Old Inn.

Stayed for 1 night at The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn, which I would highly recommend. It has a lovely relaxed ambience, rooms tastefully decorated and very different from the usual hotel style. The meals both at dinner and breakfast were very enjoyable and great presentation. However I think the staff require a special mention, all the staff at Reception, Bar and... More

Had booked a junior suite and upon arrival were informed we had been upgraded which was a lovely surprise. Receptionist was polite and efficient, helped us with making dinner plans for the Lewis Restaurant in the hotel. Room was large, bright and spotless. It offered bottled water, tea/coffee facilities and shortbread. There was also a large LCD tv and our... More

We stayed here in June 2014 as a surprise for my birthday. I knew the Crawfordsburn existed and it had always been on my to do list because I loved the look of the quaint old building having driven past. It didn't disappoint. I loved everything about it from the lovely four-poster bed to the excellent food and cocktails. Best... More

Just back from another lovely stay in this hotel. We stayed in the Rose Room and availed of a delicious two course dinner. Perfect location for a night away - lovely staff and will certainly be back Colette Malone

I can say nothing more but that I love this hotel! My husband and I got married here 6 years ago and since then we try to stay or have dinner here for special occasions. This time we decided to treat ourselves to night and an overnight stay for an early Christmas present and as always we weren't disapponted. Dinner... More
