My wife and I just simply called in for a single drink. We were so disappointed I wanted a bottle of Bud I was informed they don't stock this hugely popular beer so I had a cola (bummer) my wife wanted a Chardonnay and received a glass of what was obviously house white as it didn't have a label on... We just had a wee quick bite to eat. broccoli and goats cheese soup was so good it inspired me to attempt a replica at home.. the trials continue.. Seemingly, they make different soups all the time and one is as good as the next.. is it weird to go back to a place for its soup? too bad, I'm... More

We spend every birthday and wedding anniversary here. Had our wedding reception here in 2007 and keep coming back. Food second to none. Rooms really quirky and staff friendly and helpful. The library is nice to chill in with a drink in the evening although the highwayman ghost doesn't seem to like me being there.

I had my wedding at The Old Inn in March, the staff from start to finish were amazing they couldn't do enough for us. From arranging the wedding to our last dance this place exceeded all of my expectations. Food was top notch, not a single complaint from my guests. I would strongly recommend The Old Inn to anyone thinking... More

Got a treat ticket voucher for my birthday as I LOVE afternoon tea. Other places I have been include galgorm, tullyglass, merchant and Londonderry arms. This is one of the best afternoon tea's I have had.Lovely surroundings, fantastic service. Lovely selection of sandwiches and miniature cakes/ pastries. Beautiful scones with jam and clotted cream. Offered tea refills often. Will definitely be... More

The Old Inn Crawfordsburn is quite close to where we live but when we want a night away we always book into this charming hotel! What's the point of driving further afield when we have this little gem on our doorstep!! Our most recent stay in the Old Inn was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and yet again we were... More

We have visited the Old Inn many times, indeed we spent our wedding night there some 20 years ago. We called in for a quiet drink after a busy day shopping. Despite there being a wedding reception being held in the hotel, the bar was a peaceful with other couples enjoying refreshments on a summer afternoon. Staff were extremely professional... More

My wife and I spent our 24th wedding anniversary at this unique Inn. A beautifully restored antique with all modcons. We stayed in the Castleward Suite: very spacious character suite,4poster bed, with drapes all round--high beam shaped ceiling, wooded decor and soothing colour schemes -very grand ,very impressive indeed. Dinner in the Lewis Restaurant was superb, food presentation excellent, modern open kitchen, relaxing ,soothing ambience, well trained... More

Stayed with friends for a wedding party. Beautiful venue for the reception and service was excellent, as with the wedding meal. Excellent breakfast, with finest quality ingredients. A bit overpriced for the location and standard of the rooms.
