I attended Ladies Night on Saturday 30th January. Tickets were £26 each, this got a beautiful 3 course dinner, tea/coffee, glass of wine with our dinner and great entertainment into the early hours...well worth the money! The meal was delicious and great portions! I had requested more stuffing and gravy instead of the cranberry jus (as I am a fussy... More

We had a large family meal here at the beginning of December. There wasn't enough seats set out for us and they said that we hadn't told them the exact numbers even though we had sent through a spread sheet with all the orders. They said they didn't know who was having what and didn't have the spread sheet yet... More

Website stated carvery 12-5 and same on voucher. On arrival sign up saying closing 3.30. The carvery room was quite cold and I noticed the food had no burners lit under them to keep the food warm. Enjoyed the starter which had a good variety. The main was ok veg a bit hard but was lukewarm so got fed up... More

Dear Guest thank you for taking the time to forward your review. We are very disappointed that you did not enjoy our gift to you. We do change to Winter Hours at this time of year which means we take our last bookings at 3.30 pm but nevertheless carvery will run until all guests have been taken care of. We... More

Attended 80th birthday party on Boxing Day, food & service was excellent, staff couldn't do enough and most importantly the birthday girl loved it, have my wedding booked here so I'm glad everything was perfect, but I didn't expect anything less, top class

Booked for the above Carvery. Soup Luke warm. No side plates for to cut and butter your roll. Salad was about the best part of the whole meal as it was meant to be served cold, but was left uncovered with no chilling facilities. Main Course was cold, as the flame under the chaffing dishes were not lit. Meat was... More

Dear Guest we are very disappointed to read this review. Our Carvery always proves to to be a very popular dining experience and therefore are unsure what has happened on this occasion. I would ask that you contact me directly to discuss further and to make sure that you are completely satisfied. Please email contact details etc to Millbrook01@gmail.com More

Advisable to book, first rate service and excellent food. There are cheaper lunches out there but this is value for money. Pay before you eat, pay at reception then no hassle after asking for bill and having to wait. One small complaint, drinks service quite slow

Just stopped off at the Millbrook Lodge for lunch. Had a great meal, tasty hot food. Good sized meals and friendly efficent waiting and bar staff. Only complaint is the receptionist could smile and be a bit more friendly instead of a grunt.

Took full advantage of the Sunday carvery. Food was excellent in terms of the flavour, quantity and the selection. 5 courses for £20, which would be reasonable in any restaurant, never mind a hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous and I would have no hesitation in going back again.

I accidently booked the wrong date as the booking page refreshed so the night I booked was the date I booked into the hotel instead of the correct night (my wedding night). Tried to come to an agreement with the Manager/Owner as the rest of my bridal party are staying at the hotel, I requested to transfer the date to... More

Dear Madam we thank you for forwarding your review. We do note that you were a no show for a bedroom booking several days ago. This matter was indeed discussed with the manager and a good will gesture was offered on 2 occasions both of which involved a transfer of funds. These gestures were declined. Thank you for your review. More
