A family group of thirteen stayed here recently for D,B&B to celebrate a surprise 60th party for my brother. Right from the start we were given top class treatment, and Denise and all the staff helped to make the evening memorable for everyone. All of our party agreed that our meal was superb..cooked and served to the highest standards. The... More

An old worldly comfortable place to spend a weekend. Open fires in the winter papers and magazines to read. Bedrooms are cosy and comfy. Breakfast is really good plenty of choice. Food in the bar or restaurant is nearly all fresh local produce cooked well the fish dishes are very good

We held our wedding reception at the hotel on 2nd August 2014. Denise and the team were outstanding. They provided an excellent service to us, our guests and everyone involved in the wedding. Their attention to detail was second to none. They made a busy day go without a hitch & no request was too much for them. The food... More

This is a country hotel 170 years old. Friendly efficient check-in. Room very comfy with king bed and, hallelujah, an excellent shower. Bar and restaurant reasonably priced and good food. We had the bonus of eating in front of a cosy fire - well it is August after all! The nearby coast line is in a class of its own.

My daughter and I have just returned from a brief stay in the Londonderry Arms in Carnlough. We were welcomed most cordially by a smiling lady on reception. She responded very positively to our last minute request that we change our arranged booking from a twin-bedded room to two singles. She gave us rooms next door to each other and... More

We stayed for 5 nights covering the weekend of 2/3 August. On the Saturday we were part of a wedding party where the reception was held at the hotel. We had a family room and it was lovely, very large with nice comfortable beds. The staff were more than helpful throughout and made our stay a really nice one. Breakfast... More

We stopped in for a snack lunch last Saturday, and the owner could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The rain outside was Biblical and we were soaked while hill walking. She was dealing with a wedding and torrential storms, but this did not deflect her gracious welcome. The food was promptly served and was very good, the soup... More

While on vacation this 12 May 14 I told my wife we must stop and take a look at the hotel. We walked in the front entrance and immediately took notice of a very large Canadian moose. The folks at the desk were most delightful and helpful. I took several photos as the hotel had a lot of warmth, charm... More
