My husband and I stayed there recently to celebrate our anniversary. We were there for two nights and had dinner in the Coach House on one evening. This hotel has wonderful charm and superb service. A real step back in time...in the nicest way, from the old furniture in the rooms to the information on the walls, this is a... More

Just back from a weekend stay in the lovely village of Carnlough at the Londonderry Arms Hotel.Comfortable room, decent bathroom, everywhere clean and neat. The hotel has character - it is not modern but that is part of its charm. Winding corridors and mini-stair cases to get to the room. Comfortable bed, decent tv, coffee and tea available. Good breakfast... More

Everything you could wish for in a relaxing holiday is there in the historic Londonderry Arms. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the welcome was as warm as the lovely open fires. Food was delicious and very good value, with great local produce. Patrick looked after us very well. On Saturday last there was teriffic music from a local... More

Perfect mix of "character" and comfort. The room and bathroom were spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. A little shabby and antiquated to the American eye, but that's what we loved about it. The food in the restaurant was very good.

Spend a night here for my birthday. We received a very friendly welcome. Our room was comfortable, but unfortunately with strong winds the bedroom windows began banging. The meal at the Coach House was good and the size of portions really good. Breakfast was good and the staff looked after us well when we asked for more tea and toast.... More

I have stayed in this comfortable and relaxing hotel - right on the seafront - many times but, on this last occasion, I was simply in for lunch on the way to the ferry at Larne. It remains very popular and caters for all and sundry serving food all day long. As always, I wasn't disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed a short break at the end of February. We were warmly welcomed at reception & shown to a rather old fashioned bedroom with a large en suite. The receptionist reminded us that we were entitled to tea or coffee & scones in the lounge bar. Down we went lovely warm fires everywhere so cosy. We sat on... More

I stayed here with my partner for a child free weekend away in early February. Though the weather was about what you'd expect in February in Ireland - cold and damp, the hotel was welcoming, warm and had lots of open fires throughout the lobby, bar and restaurant. The staff were equally warm and friendly. We ate in the bar... More
