We are just back from a weekend in the Londonderry arms hotel on a living social deal. An old world hotel, with old world charm, our room was spacious, spotless, and well appointed. The public areas are lovely with old world charm, we eat at the hotel both night's food lovely well presented and good value. Staff were very helpful... More

Afternoon Tea was amazing! What a treat we had! The tea was served beautifully in front the welcomed open fire. Maeve who looked after us was very attentive. The tea was superb from the cinnamon sconces to the pastries which I must say I had one or two or maybe even three! I have enjoyed Afternoon areas in other hotels... More

We stayed over Feb 14th Valentine's night which hosted a champagne reception and 4 course meal... A small group played for the evening and from we walked in till we checked out we had the most wonderful time.. Staff were ultra friendly and helpful.. They catered well for my vegan diet although not much variation for my breakfast but that... More

Stayed here as part of a much bigger walking group. Exceptional value for a stay in a hotel with real history and character with welcoming fires, lovely food and attentive staff. Enjoyed live Irish music on the Friday evening following our arrival. On the Saturday the hotel went out of its way to accommodate all 21 of us in a... More

This place has two faces...the public rooms and the bedrooms..poles apart. The public rooms in this hotel cannot be faulted..real fires burning give this place a warm cosy feeling..yes this place is old but its so welcoming on a cold winters day...complimentary newspapers and magazines to read if the weather too bad to leave the hotel. The food served in... More

This hotel has been going for decades and despite the fact that it is an old hotel, it abounds in character. Our room had an enormous bed which was literally a dream to be in. The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. There were fires lit in the public areas and the temptation to just lounge... More

Called in at the Londonderry arms Hotel coach House bar for a lunch on a freezing day. We were met with a lovely warm room with a blazing real fire and that was the first positive thing, the second was the friendliness of the staff and third was the lovely tasty lunch which was all home made. Joe the waiter... More

My husband and I visited the Londonderry Arms Hotel a few weeks ago one Sunday evening and ordered from their high tea menu. Our steaks were fabulous and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this menu to anyone. Staff were excellent. We will be back.

Visited this hotel for the New Years celebrations, have to say was one of my most memorable New Years ever. The evening consisted of a 6 course gala dinner, casino, disco and a piper to pipe in the New Year. The food was truly stunning, best large dinner food I have been to in a long time, the casino was... More
