Historic hotel dating back to 1845 and once inherited by Winston Churchill. Sadly now a bit tired and would benefit from some refreshment without compromising the spirit of the hotel. Small TV in room. Dodgy wifi. In-room electric key system needs replaced. Dinner at bit chaotic - obviously unable to cope with the numbers; long wait for table and, although... More

My sister and I had lunch here. I only come to Northern Ireland once every few years and always try to come here. The food is fresh and cooked to order. Expect big portions and country cooking - I had the pork chop with champ and veg and it was just like Granny cooked. This is a lovely little village... More

Called in to the Londonderry Arms recently with some friends while on a trip down the Antrim Coast Road. We had pre booked the Afternoon Tea without quite knowing what to expect. We were not disappointed. Fresh tea and coffee, a selection of sandwiches, smoked salmon on wheaten, scones with jam and fresh cream, meringues, choux pastry swans filled with... More

Lovely warm welcome as usual and we were given a lovely room at the front of the hotel with a partial sea view. The room/bathroom had everything we needed and the bed was large and very comfortable. We ate in the hotel both nights - once in the restaurant and once in the Bistro. Both meals were lovely and the... More

We wanted to stay in this period hotel for sometime due its history and unique atmosphere. However our stay was sadly dissapointing. Our room 208 had a horrible view of back yards of neighbouring businesses and residental buildings. We asked for a better room with a seaview and were refused told there was no other rooms available but four was... More

We returned to the Londonderry Arms hotel. The hotel seemed it's usual welcoming self but while at lunch there was an influx of visitors. They turned out to be a group of "set" dancers. They were loud and seemed to take over. The staff seemed unable to cope it was hard to get good service. We had a table booked... More

Great hotel with a bistro next door. Nice location and nice village. Room was big and a great view. Really friendly staff. Take care in the shower the water is really hot! Ask for room 115 as it has a fab view. Hotel was once owned by Winston Churchill.
