Arrived here after a long day exploring the sights around Antrim and surrounding areas. Warmly welcomed by our host Robert who gave us some good tips on where to eat. Our room was the chintz, a comfortably decorated room. The tv was a bit old fashioned but I guess this is in keeping with the style of the room! Breakfast... More

Stayed here for two nights as a base to explore the North Coast. Lodge consists for three rooms, all decorated in different styles. We stayed in the 'Chintz' room, a lovely big room, with comfortable big bed, and en-suite. Greeted by the owner, Robert, here was there as quick as a flash when you needed something, and disappeared soon after... More

I was at Marlagh Lodge for lunch, and able to sit in the courtyard surrounded by herbs. Beautiful setting, good food and really excellent value. Herbs are freshly picked for your lunch and served in a really good salad with home made french dressing. Sponge cake was light and delicious. A charming venue which I would highly recommend.

Robert owns and runs a delightful b&b, well situated in the countryside just five minutes from Ballymena. Nothing is too much trouble for him, and his breakfasts are superb. Our bedroom was comfortable, and the separate bathroom was adequate. We had use of a residents lounge which was lovely. Overall we are happy to recommend Marlagh Lodge to the discerning... More

I took my friend to Marlagh Lodge for afternoon tea for her birthday recently. What a treat both for her and for me as well :-) We had booked in advance and were shown to our table immediately. Having been brought our choice of beverages, we had a plate of gorgeous sandwiches. Alongside was a large platter of cut fruit... More

Spent 4 nights here in very elegant surroundings, we felt like The Lord & Lady of the lodge. We were in the Chintz Room which was very spacious, comfortable bed & nice en-suite with a powerful shower. We had B&B with 2 nights dinner which was excellent, beautifully cooked & presented. Robert was very informative, helpful & helped us with... More

I stayed with Robert last Thursday initially for one night but came back again on the Saturday night It was so good. It is an old Victorian house with still working servants bells in each room. A very cosy room with a great breakfast and genuine welcome from your hosts no wonder when I tried to rebook the following Friday... More

A warm friendly welcome combined with tasteful accomodation which was very clean. The breakfasts are wonderful with quality produce served up in a fantastic drawing room. Relaxing and full of history describes our stay over Easter weekend.

I booked afternoon tea for myself and my mum for the day before Mothers Day. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us to our reserved seats immediately. Our choice of beverage arrived promptly, followed by a delicious and unusual selection of sandwiches, salmon on wheaten bread and scones with jam and cream, in... More
