Booked in for one night as we were attending a wedding at another venue. When we arrived back we had to battle through the crowded lobby full of drunk locals. Our room was then directly above the bar where a band was playing through the typical set list (Sweet home Alabama, The Gambler, Galway Girl etc.) Impossible to get to... More

Dear Peter, thank you for your review and I am sorry you didn't enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. We are very busy with local trade and recently won Hotel Bar of the Year at the prestigious Pubs of Ulster Awards. Every Friday and Saturday night we have a live musician, usually with a guitar in the public bar. They play... More

Spent three nights in the middle of February and cannot really fault the hotel.. From the moment you meet the staff at the reception their customer service was excellent. Not only were they very friendly but they were also professional, efficient and helpful. My sister had to change her room because she could not turn the heating down but they... More

We have stayed at the Adair Arms twice while visiting relatives nearby. The second occasion was in the early part of New Year 2015. This is a pleasant though slightly dated hotel situated just off the main thoroughfare in Ballymena and a very short walk from the shopping centre of the town. It has rooms in the original building and... More

I was here with friends for a birthday meal, the service was okay but they didn't get most of our orders correct, the food was okay I guess, it could have been a bit warmer. the seating is grand enough. my opinions on the toilets is that they don't smell that nice.

I bought my husband tickets to a show at The Braid for his 40th birthday and we decided to make a night of it and spend the night. We booked into the Adair Arms who were offering a special January deal - £100 for 2 people sharing with a 4 Course meal and breakfast. It was snowing heavily when we... More

Have stayed in this hotel several times and eaten in the restaurant many times and have booked clients into it on a couple of occasions as it would be one of our 'local' hotels. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Have found the restaurant food good value for money and well... More
