We stayed here for two nights - couldn't fault it. A lovely bright, clean room overlooking the sea. Charming and helpful staff. Take a walk around the well kept garden, and you must visit the Ghost Room! I last visited Ballygally 60 years ago - I won't be leaving it so long again!

Attended a wedding here and stayed overnight. Setting is amazing with lovely views along the coast with hills behind. The building is a lovely blend of new and old, set in beautiful gardens. The room was very comfortable but it is fairly expensive considering the facilities available. The food was acceptable but the service was a little patchy. Wedding guests... More

Booked in to this hotel for the first leg of our 90 mile walk from belfast to portrush. We arrived tired and sore and after the kitchen had closed. The staff were considerate and generous and went out of their way to organise us some food . The rooms were luxurious and clean. The beds comfortable and the cooked breakfast... More

This hotel is stunning!! We really enjoyed the break away from home & were sorry we had only booked it for 1 night! We received an upgrade to a coastal deluxe suite which was stunning! The only thing we had a problem with was the menu as we are both very plain eaters & there wasn't much that suited us.... More

We stayed for one night and found the hotel nestled in the Ballygally bay, it was very picturesque. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful and courteous. The food was excellent and the service matched this. We had a room facing the bay in the new section and it was very nice and well appointed. Would stay here again.

I recently took part in a 90 mile charity walk from Belfast to Portrush and the first stay was scheduled for Ballygally Castle. Now I have passed it many times and never dreamt of staying in it but boy was I wrong all those times. After walking 30 miles I would have happily curled up on the beach but thankfully... More

I recently went on a staff away day to Ballygally castle. Our meetings took place in a beautiful, light filled room overlooking the sea and in the evening we were treated to cocktails and a delicious dinner. It was the perfect stay with great service and lots of charm. I will definitely return with my own family.

Take the coast road north from belfast and be amazed when you suddenly reach your destination a stunning 17th century extended premises sitting on the shores of the atlantic looking at the Mull of Kintyre park in the car park across the road and enter to a spacious foyer come lounge looking out at the sea. A friendly and efficient... More

I took my staff team here for our annual two day strategic planning and it was one of the most inspired choices of venue i could've made. From the moment we arrived the relaxed, chilled and totally soothing atmosphere of the hotel, coupled with the fantastic service and food provided, allowed us to completely zone out of our normal working...
