We had a lovely stay, the staff are always very friendly & helpful! The bedroom was lovely, a very comfortable bed, and what we really liked too was a large walkin shower, but a seperate bath is great for a relaxing soak! The food was excellent as always, but one thing we were very disappointed in was the breakfast......... a... More

A wonderful hotel, great location overlooking the Irish Sea. We were fortunate and had wonderful weather and could see Scotland from our room. The hotel is set in an old castle, is very modern and is very comfortable. There is a special haunted room in the old tower, well worth a visit, especially at night. The hotel gardens are spectacular... More

I would highly recommend the Ballygally Castle if you want something extra special. My husband and I decided to book the Ballygally Castle for my 50th birthday and what an excellent choice. We arrived a little earlier than the booking time of 3pm so we went for a drive to Glenarm and visited the Glenarm Castle Tearooms (well worth a... More

No better place to stay than Ballygally Castle! Started off with a superb Sunday buffet lunch - great food choices beautifully presented. Spent the evening at The Red Velvet Cabaret starring Peter Corey and cast. Eclectic, fun show with brilliant music. Would go see it again - brilliant. Great size bedroom with a view of the "biggest swimming pool" in the... More

Have just celebrated a special wedding anniversary last weekend, the first part was in another well known hotel on the 29th August and the to the Ballygally Hotel on the 30th. The castle had a special show on Peter Corries the Red Velvet Cabaret which was great. We have stayed in the Ballygally lots of times over the last couple... More

My wife and I spent one night in The Ballygally Castle in August 2015. We were touring the North Coast of Ireland. We were impressed by the warm, professional welcome we received at reception and the efficiency of check in. We had a large ,comfortable room and great bathroom. The bed was large and we enjoyed restful sleep. If we had... More

We stayed just one night on our way to Donegal...what a shame because it really is a superb hotel in a stunning location right next to the coast road, which to my surprise is really quiet with hardly any traffic. The food and service we had for our evening dinner was fantastic..the scampi starter was many of our coach partys... More

We've eaten here many times and it's still one of our favourite restaurants, our meal was only spoilt by not being as hot as it should have been, garlic bread is just soggy oily bread and simply not nice. Flavours and taste were good, it just wasn't up to their usual standard, serving hot food on cold plates doesn't help... More
