We had our wedding at Ballygally on 21/06/2014 and it was the most amazing day! The sun was shining and Ballygally staff made sure everything was taken care of down to the last detail. We are from Northern Ireland but live in Scotland. When we picked Ballygally as our venue for the ceremony and the reception I was thinking to... More

Our room was a large corner front one with great views of the water and surrounding countryside. The ensuite bathroom was very spacious. The dining room is beautiful with wonderful views of their pretty gardens. Breakfast was very good as was the wait staff, however, i cannot say the same for the dinner service or meal. We found the front... More

I stayed here last weekend and I can say that it was the most delightful stay anywhere, my partner or myself have experienced in a long time! The food was amazing and Norma couldn't help us enough was great. And the manager Scott was fantastic, nothing was too much! We will definitley be staying again.

I looked forward to my stay at this hotel with great anticipation & sorry to say it did not live up to its former reputation. The sea-view room was small & perhaps cosy but the bathroom was a major let down! The room has been partially refurbished but the light switch is missing plaster & the tiles look like they have... My husband and I called in on Sunday evening. The restaurant was fully booked so we opted for the bar food menu. We have eaten often in another Hastings hotel and I thought I would see if the quality of food and service was as good. We were attended to by Gary and I find it hard to believe he... More

Treated my mum to afternoon tea as a late Mother's Day outing, we'd been v much looking forward to trying out the newly opened ballygally castle. Have to say was very disappointed with the service & it really spoilt our special treat. On arrival spoke to reception, who directed me to the bar, who sent me back to reception, where... More

On a beautiful day we drove along the amazing Antrim coast and stopped at the hotel on spec for some lunch. A wedding was taking place--so it was very busy--and did take a little time to get the staffs attention. The main eating areas were taken up by wedding guests-so the only seating available was in the hotel lobby. A... More

Hotel, staff, food and atmosphere were amazing.... Kids had a great time at the neighbouring Carnfunnock Park and the hotel was truly the icing on the cake. A wonderful place overlooking the sea, kids could paddle their feet on the small sandy beach, and have fun in the beautiful hotel gardens between meal courses. Staff were very attentive and did... Fabulous seaside location, very beautiful gardens, faultless excellent breakfast of fresh, local, top-quality produce BUT the VERY best thing is the bed. It was like sleeping on a cloud and so wonderful that we are investigating how to purchase this for ourselves! There is also an interesting ghost room to be inspected, and various histories and artefacts and information to... More
