The best cafe good food friendly staff and in a Lovley campsite. It was poring rain and they were still churning out some of the best food we had tasted. THANK YOU so much for making our stay at Burnbake so good we will be back for more bird song and food.

Easier to find than expected, very quiet location. Pitched up on arrival and paid later when the shop was open.Washing facilities clean, if a little basic. Wooded area great for young children, felt very safe. Great stop for a couple of days, but a bit remote if staying a week.

Have just returned from our annual burnbake trip. Firstly yes it is busy and yes some of the new lodges have taken up some of the nice pitch spaces. But let's be honest it's still the same lovely, beautiful place. Looks like there has been a few staff changes but they were very friendly, cheery and very helpful. The showers... More

We've just got back from a weeks stay at Burn Bak Campsite with the kids. Overall it feels like the campsite is no longer the focus and that the new lodges are taking pride of place. We used to love this campsite because their was loads of space for the kids to play in the woods, in the play area... More

Just got back from a weekend at burn bake and was pleasantly surprised how little it had changed since my last visit a number of years ago. Place has been smartened up but essentially still unspoilt and friendly. Must make special mention of the rustic restaurant;very good food at reasonable prices. Along with the bring your own alcohol we had... More

I've just returned to Burnbake for the first time in 15 years, and it's just as I remember it - rural, friendly, unspoilt. The only major change is the new lodges and the little cafe, which does a nice breakfast at weekends (we didn't try the dinner, but that also looked good). I'm surprised so many people feel it's changed... More

We stayed in the new lodges and on our arrival found the campers very close to our lodge which didn't bother us at first(that soon changed) it was the noise over the weekend that was very loud and we heard screaming and swearing on more than a few occasions, (not the idyllic picture we had beforehand) We also had a... Just reading the reviews… We have been coming for the last 4 years and okay the new lodges have taken up a lot of the camping space but the site itself is a beautiful location and staff are very welcoming. Credit where it’s due! The shop is small but has everything you need. The main thing for us was the... More

Great little campsite with a great atmosphere! Smiley chap on reception was very welcoming and helpful letting us know where to go in the local area. This was our first year and we will be back... Thanks Burnbake :-)

We are leaving! Awful, over crowded, noisy and going to Woodyhyde in future. The new owners know how to spoil a good thing. Other sites are better and nearby and are what Burnbake was when it was good. The rate collectors do their rounds in the evening and make no comment as to how close tents are pitched. The rules...
