Enjoyable Saturday evening, comfortable night and excellent breakfast. We had a good welcome and would be happy to return for a week-end. The room had been recently renovated and was extremely well kitted out. It was very peaceful.

We had a lovely stay at The Fiddleford Inn. When my husband said he had booked, I looked it up and unfortunately came across the wrong website, “ fiddlefordinn.com”. Very uninspiring. Fortunately my husband pointed out that the inn is now under new ownership and the I should actually look at “thefiddlefordinn.co.uk” (For some bizarre reason the previous tenant has... More

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of August with our friends from Spain (who spoke little English). We had 2 rooms which were large, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom amenities were my favorite. We ate dinner in a large group of 12 and everyone's food was delicious. Barbara & Stephen always accomodated our needs at breakfast.... More

I walked for over an hour for a lovely pub lunch with my husband and dogs due to the reviews given. We checked the website and it states they served food until 2.30. We arrived at 2.10 to be told that food stopped being served at 2. I explained what their website said and all we were told is "the... More

My family and I enjoyed a lovely time staying at the fiddleford inn. The room was beautiful and the beds perfect. We stayed from Thursday thru to Monday. Steve and Barbara couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Every morning the breakfasts are first rate along with tea set us up for the day. And it was so nice to... More

Such a lovely place, good for walking with dogs and a welcome drink on return.... Staff are great, helpful and really nice.... There is a beer garden ......try the purbeck cider.... Blush in particular.... If you look up the website, the previous owners have blocked change of phone number on the website and you can not get through, this is... More

Visited yesterday. What a lovely place, cosy but uptodate. Lovely staff and locals. No Royston Vasey feeling here. Live music on Great. Viewed the rooms and they were up to par with the some much more expensive rooms that we have used. Great pub

The Fiddleford Inn Has had several owners and differing business emphasis over the last twenty years or so which has reflected the changes in society and the economy. Senior management and myself had a joint birthday dinner there last night, our first culinary visit since the pub was given an extensive re-vamp. I know some who know it say that... More

Fantastic Sunday lunch, the beef was cooked to perfection, great roast potatoes and very tasty vegetables served with a lovely Yorkshire pudding. One of the best Sunday roasts we've eaten. A lovely pub that's been refurbished and it looks great, several different ales and beers and peroni too.

We used to love walking from Sturminster to The Fidfleford inn with the children as they had a play area, for the children and we would sit in the garden and the children could enjoy themselves. It gradually got worse and then was taken over. We thought we would try it again although there are no facilities to attract families... More
