This year we held our annual end of season ball at the Koll House Hotel. The event was attended by 108 guests many of whom stayed at the hotel. The evening function was a great success and a credit to the hotel venue. Without question this was some of the finest food we have ever enjoyed at the ball and... More

We visited this hotel and others great. Ca not complain at all. The area is very good and security fine. We never ate in the hotel but the professional people in the hotel made it. The hotel is very clean and tidy and we would stay here again. The night life is very close to the hotel which is very... More

Stayed at this hotel for just one night as we were staying there for a function. Not the cheapest of places to stay & we had a deal. Lovely location though & and not the blandness that you get at chain hotels, which I liked. Nicely & simply decorated which added to the charm. When we checked in though, we... More

The woman at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, and we were helped to our room by staff who brought our luggage and gave us the tour of the room. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed our one night stay enough that we wished we were staying longer. The one downside was the absence of the tea... More

On arriving for prebooked weeks b&b stay went to reception to book in, was greeted by a middle aged fair haired women who made me feel quite unwelcome and had an abrubt unhelpfull attitude, not quite what I expected after a long journey. Food and other staff good, though some of the premises looked in need of attention. Room we had was... More

If you're expecting a contemporary, modern, character-less, faceless hotel - then DON'T book Knoll House. It you're looking for somewhere that's welcoming to just about every walk of life (including beloved pets) with good old fashioned great customers service and a hotel steeped with tradition and charm, then this place is for you. The ultimate child friendly place, where everyone... More

A charming and very child-friendly hotel in a stunning location. The decor is somewhat tired. But this does not detract from the experience. There is plenty to do on-site. Not least visiting the pristine beach - a short walk through the grounds.

We stopped here as it looked lovely around lunchtime and asked if we could just get a coffee. The bar man was so helpful and a waiter came out with a beautifully laid tray with a large cafetiere of coffee and jug of warm milk, as requested. We sat and enjoyed the view with our coffee. So good when people... More

Hi there, I called to reserve a room and was told to call nearer the time even though it was only a week and a half in advance! I understand that week bookings take priority but surely there is a way of reserving the room until someone else confirms they were coming for the whole week. Apparently there would be... More

As an extended family of 9, we have been coming here for generations. This year has been as impressive in service and attention to detail as all the previous years. We had a birthday in our group, and the staff bent over backwards to add a personal touch to our weekend on this matter. The staff always address regular guests... More
