Came here last night with friends and family for a pre dinner drink. This place never fails to impress me - where to start! The location is picturesque; in a wooded valley, just metres away from short cliffs leading to the beach. You get there by driving down a quaint country lane, surrounded by delightful Dorset countryside. The pub itself... More

On a recent camping trip we ended up here every evening! The staff are so friendly, the location is great - out of the wind, but still a great sun trap! There are plenty of dog bowls for filling up with water and our girls certainly had a great time meeting the local Dogs! Prices are a lot more expensive... More

Visited here for the third time and impressed again! Food was faultless and so was the service. Recommend this pub to anyone. Beautiful views over Weymouth bay from the car park and pub itself in a beautiful setting.

I can not fault any thing here, the room was lovely we stayed for three day and ate here every night . The food was tasty and there was lots of choice including avert good specials board. The service was second to none and we felt very welcome all the time. Can't wait to go back

We stayed one night (Saturday), so....lets start with the good - beautiful setting, lovely room (there is a but here....), decent wine list (though if you are serviing wine in an ice bucket, invest in some ice bucket strand they are not pricey and save your customer being left with a table swiming in water) and a good selection of... Parked at the car park opposite the pub, £5.00 all day but money back if you eat at the smugglers, which we planned to do after our circular 3 mile walk, starting and ending at the pub. Got back at 1pm and went and sat in garden area, dogs are welcome no problem. Lovely ice cold cider after a long... More

I stayed here for one night with an Aussie friend whilst walking the South West Coast Path. We booked rooms here because of the pubs location, sitting in a valley directly off the path. There were no twin rooms here so we pushed the boat out and got a double each. It was worth the money! The rooms have real... More

Stopped by for a drink and some lunch on a bank holiday monday. ordered at the bar which took around 20 minutes to be taken . Not because they were so busy, just disorganised. very mediocre food when actually received. -first given another tables order before eventually receiving the right food .also is it out of a packet? what lets... We stayed here for one night as part of a 3 day working holiday and it was easily the worst of the B and B's we stayed in. £110 was way over priced for a room that was tired and basic. On our arrival there were no towels which we had to chase and there was no sign of extra... More

I am so sorry to hear that your stay with us was so disappointing, we always value all feedback that we receive and always endeavour to improve our services and to make peoples day. I am aware that sometimes we are slow at finishing the laundry in time for all new arrivals, to try and solve this issue moving forwards... More
