It's a great location. Staff were helpful some of the oversees staff were struggling with the language but maybe it's early in the season but all were attentive and willing. Get a room with a balcony ours was room 19 so its the only one I can comment on it was OK but a little dusty and the on suite... more

I visited lulworth cove inn a couple of weeks back for business. It looks lovely from the outside, and locationwise seems great! The problems started during dinner! The website is a complete lie, and the dinner they served wasn't as posh as they made it sound on the web. Instead my food tasted of butter and fat, it was disgusting... more

I really feel for people running these hotels. Getting staff must be a nightmare. The barman was a French lad, chamber maid a German lass and a Spanish girl waiting. A nice English girl seemed to be running the show. They were a tad disorganized. But when the food did arrive it was good. At breakfast, we turned off the... more

It heartens me when we receive candid reviews. It is a difficult job keeping everyone happy all of the time although we endeavour to always do our best in a conscientious and professional manner. I do remember the guests stay and certainly hope they once again return to the best B&B in the village; we always strive to improve our...

We found the room to be good, with a nice sea view down to Lulworth Cove. The meals were good with a reasonable variety for the size of hotel. While the bathrooms aren't massive they do meet one of my key criteria, the fact that a six foot tall person can get under the shower head .... We got excellent... more

I returned yesterday from a one night stay at the Lulworth Cove Inn with hubby and our friends. We come from yorkshire and had stopped off at the New Forrest at Careys Manor (you can also read my review of that hotel) to break up the journey on our way to Monkey World and the coast. I was slightly worried... more

found hotel over priced for the tired looking room compared to others we have stayed in. Although this was compensated for by the beautiful views overlooking lulworth cove from our window. The breakfast was average, but the staff were freindly and helpful. I would recommend the crab hotpot in the bar it was really tasty. All in all good experience... more

We stayed for one Saturday night and the experience overall was good. The weather cooperated, which made a big difference. We had room 17, with a four-poster bed and a balcony because we decided that it was worth paying the extra money. I can confirm that the cup of tea out there in the morning was great, but be advised... more

We stayed for two nights and had an average experience. I would say this hotel is over priced for what they offer and would think they work on passing trade so don't need to keep it quite up to standard. We stayed in a triple room with our son and paid £105 per night. The room was tired and not... more

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy the stay however according to our records no one stayed in either of our triple rooms for two consecutive nights in May as you describe. Please do not confuse us with the hotel down the road, we are a B&B, NOT a hotel and do not offer hotel services. We take great pride...

A nice trip. We stayed here as we were in the area for a wedding. The food was fresh and very nice, good fish. The staff were great, very friendly and we even got some drinks on the house. The rooms were basic and there were some rough edges so if your looking for a luxury break this isnt the... more
