From the outside, the hotel looks like a drab brown building - reminds me of the Brady Bunch house! But once you walk in, the modern reception area and very friendly staff start to show you what a great hotel it is. The walk up to the room was a bit dated and maybe a bit tired, but once you... We stopped here for just one night and wished we were able to stay longer. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was just as expected and the bed large and welcoming. Dinner that night was fantastic the butternut squash filo parcels were great and accompanied by a very spicy sauce. Breakfast in the morning was very... More

On Mothering Sunday we had a family gathering for lunch at this lovely hotel. The meal and service was excellent. We had a great choice of meat and vegetables which were cooked perfectly. This hotel is in a great location with stunning views from the dining room across chesil beach. We have eaten here several times. They do fabulous bar... More

In reality the Heights is more Crossroads Motel than hotel. The room was clean and adequate with a good bed but it felt distinctly spartan. The hotel has great views of Chesil Beach and the front of house staff were all very friendly. The food however was like a throw back to 1970's hotel food and very disappointing. A chicken... More

I stayed at the heights hotel in March 2015 (£80 per night B&B). The hotel is a mix of clean and well presented restaurant/bar serving good and well presented food, but with tired accommodation (I stayed in room 209). I only stayed one night, the breakfast was very good, the view in the restaurant is fantastic. but the bedroom (209)... More

Having a holiday home in Weymouth, we regularly visit The Heights for meals out. On a recent trip we decided to book to stay overnight before we went to open our holiday home. We booked a twin room with breakfast for the price of £75. The room was clean, although perhaps a little dated, but very tidy and spacey. There... More

We stayed one night for our wedding anniversary. Arrived about 8pm and ate in the restaurant, wasn't very impressed with the main meals. We had a superior room, bed was fantastic, best sleep I've had in years. Very comfortable room, lots of nice little touches, choc, fruit etc. Breakfast was outstanding, great buffet set up, it was a sunny morning... More

We stayed four nights at the Hieghts in February. We had a superior room which was comfortable with a very large comfortable bed. The food was excellent, well presented and hot. The staff all seamed to have worked there for years which is always a sign of a good hotel. They were all friendly and provided very good service. The... More
