My husband and I had a fantastic mini break in Dorset and holmebridge house was the icing on the cake. We originally chose this bed and breakfast due to its close location to monkey world but it is in a perfect location for so many wonderful places including monkey world, the tank museum (which is much more fun than it... Holmebridge House has all you could possibly want from a simple B&B for a few nights. Nice people, comfy bed, hot shower, great breakfast. The "full English" is much abused: Anita's was just as it should be - thick rindless bacon, meaty sausage, crisp fried bread, tomatoes just so, mushrooms al dente, egg neither hard nor runny, and a substantial... Just got back from 3 nights at this lovely B & B, and can thoroughly recommend it. We had a quiet room at the back of the house, looking directly onto a field and open land. Saw deer each night, as mentioned on the website. Comfortable and spotless room, with a good ensuite. Owners Brian and Anita were friendly and... More

We had s lovely stay here in August. The room was big with a good sized en suite. However the house is on the road and so sleep quality wasn't fantastic. It is in a good place though to visit the beautiful countryside.

The breakfast was delicious and there were splendid views at the rear of the house, we even saw some deer feeding outside our window see photos
