We stayed for two nights and were very disappointed overall. We knew the location was good, being in the village, and that it was an interesting building, but it definitely did not live up to expectations. Reception etc were OK but our bedroom (No 2) was tired and shabby, very much a 'past glory' theme and the bathroom was totally... More

Stayed for 2 nights after spending the previous night in Christchurch. Lovely hotel setting and a lovely old building plenty of parking and within 100 yards of the village. All of the downstairs was very nice but our room was not so nice. We did like the aged theme but room, number 5, was very very tired and hugely disappointing... More

Mortons House Hotel in picturesque Corfe Castle is a delightful place to stay. We enjoyed excellent food at every meal. The hotel is beautifully furnished and we slept well in a lovely room with every comfort and views across the terrace to the Purbeck Hills. The staff were courteous and attentive and very helpful. It is well placed to visit... More

Stayed on a Secret Escapes one night break and ate in the restaurant. Food exceptional. Service second to none. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room very comfortable. Loved the sound of the stream train nearby. Will definitely stay there again.

I recently spent four nights at this hotel with several other members of my family. I cannot fault the hotel in any way, as they dealt with my requirements in a calm and professional way! this included catering for a disabled guest, and children. every time i contacted the hotel for a change (and with a group of 15 people,... Delightful hotel, friendly staff comfortable rooms. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good! Everyone was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely revisit! We were staying to attend a wedding locally and the area has a lot to offer for tourists.

We stayed for one night (fortunately on a very good deal) a couple of weeks ago. Staff were friendly and helpful - one of the few hotels I have stayed in where staff actually showed us where the room was. The room was very small and decor slightly dated (room 4). It was a very hot evening and the window... More

This hotel is in a time warp- feels like it hasn't left the 70s! Having said that, we had a large suite which was very pleasant (including a red bathroom suite with green tiles!). Windows don't all shut properly so there is traffic noise, but the hotel is a stone's throw from the tiny but attractive village & Castle. Thought... More

Stayed for two night DBB. Plus points : Lovely building. Dinner very good as was wine (SA Chenin Blanc) mussels slightly overcooked for our taste. Second night Sole and crab both excellent as was Eton mess and Cheese board. Great location. Service good Minus Points: All very minor but at £210 per night I expect better then a small paper...
