Check in was easy and breakfast details and WiFi and keys all explained. we also dined at the pub that evening and the food was excellent, i can... More

Perfect weekend break. The weather wasn't perfect but the location & quality of service, staff, premises & offerings made us forget the off weather. Great value. Definitely returning. Lovely breakfast. Staff in all areas were attentive and very efficient. The rooms were clean, cosy & had modern amenities, without losing the traditional feel. The restaurant served a good range to... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Scott Arms and ate there both nights. The room was clean, with fresh white sheets and rustic furnishings - great facilities and even cafetière coffee. Breakfasts also exceeded our expectations: full English or smoked salmon & scrambled egg (amazing sausages!). The pub is like a rabbit warren - cosy, with lots of rooms leading... More

We stayed in the self catering apartment above the pub which was fine apart from the heating. Definitely an issue with the landlord turning it down (the thermostat for ALL the rooms including the bar was just outside the front door to said apartment) and we turning it up as several of the radiators in said apartment were either not... Stayed here for three nights in September for a short break. Clean comfortable room (however see below), though the bathroom paintwork could do with a refresh in places. Pub had good menu selection and a nice choice in real ales. Best of all was the selection of local ciders! Found all staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast... More

We have been here often as we walk the Swanage coast path regularly with our little dog and the upside of this pub is that it is dog-friendly. It used to be quite good as the atmosphere is ok and the views excellent. However, the food is sometimes good sometimes not. On this occasion it was TERRIBLE!! The barman was... More

I first came to this pub 30 years ago, loved it then and still do. The view is to die for on a warm evening. I have seen the place change over the years, the prices, the quality of the food, the decor, the staff etc. We were served by a rather miserable and sour barman who hardly said a... More

The Scott Arms was a delightful place to return to after a day walking this beautiful coast. A warm welcome from the staff and delicious fish and chips with local ale then a good night's sleep in a well appointed room with super comfortable bed. Who could ask for more? Well - that was provided in the morning with a... More

This was a longed for reunion we friends which was spoiled by this pub and accomodation. We rented the self contained flat and friends had smaller B&B room. On arrival we had a big leak which was in the hall. Told staff who said we know and handed us paper towels! Pictures on the website are deceptive and flat was... More

This pub with costly b&b trades solely on its location with good views of Corfe Castle although the view can only be seen from the bar and garden. Our overnight room had filthy windows, a broken curtain and no complimentary toiletries other than an aged soap dispenser. For the price charged we had expected a substantially better standard. The evening... More
