Wonderful location and breathtaking views. Just dont hold your breath when you order. Staff outnumbered customers yet it took 20 minutes and a reminder to make our drinks and then a further 10 to get a bowl of chips, we asked for sauces but they never came at all. Terrible service. Such a shame

Dear Lulu T What a shame your first Trip Advice was a poor experience at our pub. My apologies for the lack of attentive service, we must have taken our eye off the ball on your visit, and I hope we can welcome you back for a true Scotts Arms experience another time. Best regards Simon More

Came here for drinks yesterday with friends at lunchtime. What an amazing pub! The view from the extensive beer garden is absolutely stunning - looking down towards the Purbeck Hills and Corfe Castle - wondrous! Inside the pub has lots of atmosphere, with vaulted ceilings and a great ale selection. Friendly staff and decent value make this place hard to... More

Dear JamesLox Thank you for taking the time to review our pub. It is indeed fantastic on a summer's day, or in front on one of our winter logfires. A pub for all seasons! Simon More

Stayed here for two nights in October 2014. Accommodation, food and service all excellent. It is a great starting point for walking and exploring the Purbeck hills; Corfe Castle can be reached by foot in 45 minutes. We will definitely go back.

Spent a lovely weekend here at the Scott Arms. The room was lovely, the food was superb - and well priced. If there was one thing that could had been better it would be the addition of bath sheets rather than the small towels provided but this is a tiny minor issue as we loved the place, and would happily... We stayed in the Scott Arms for two nights and ate there both evenings. I'd eaten there before and the food was up to its usual high standard. This was my first stay and we were very happy with the room and the breakfast. My only slightly negative point was the cost of the wine which was a little high... More

A PUB stay. A short Friday and Saturday night stay in Oct 2014. Easy to find yet in a quiet location, a lovely old building. Arrived tired, was met with a warm smile and asked to see the manager who showed us to our room, LOVELY, and explained how things work with regard to meals etc. Well appointed room, great... More

We had a comfortable, relaxed, enjoyable stay. Room and bathroom clean and quiet, food of very good quality and breakfast substantial - if you wanted it to be! The views from the Scott Arms have been commented on many times before ie breathtaking. Walks from the "front door" to the coastal path and nearby woods charming. Thoroughly worth a visit.... More

I stayed with my wife recently, and we were quite disappointed. The room was in need of a lick of paint in lots of places, the bed was very comfortable, but the shower suffered from a distinct lack of pressure and did not work properly. We ate each evening of our stay and on the second evening had to wait... More

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Scott Arms, The staff were very welcoming and the location was amazing, with views from the garden out over Corfe Castle and across to Poole Harbour. The food was excellent, especially the seafood - the Hake and Chorizo dish was the best we've tasted for a long time. The pub itself is... More
