Came for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The place was heaving which made for a great atmosphere. The Jerk Shack was fired up and smelt good but we opted for a ploughmans which was fantastic and the service was quick. Great view over Corfe Castle too. We were only in Dorset for a week and we ended up coming... More

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Scott Arms, The staff were very welcoming and the location was amazing, with views from the garden out over Corfe Castle and across to Poole Harbour. The food was excellent, especially the seafood - the Hake and Chorizo dish was the best we've tasted for a long time. The pub itself is... More

On my list of what a pub should have I include: - An open fire - A bit of character - Good food that isn't too expensive (I can go to a restaurant if I want expensive) - Good selection of beers - A view if possible - A beer garden which isn't on a main road - Friendly staff... More

Thought we would give this beautiful place another try as service let us down the first time. So glad we did as the food was perfect and good value for money, espically considering the location and views. Can recomend the burger/haddock and chips. Very good indeed Thanks Ian for great service, were locals and will be back

We were walking in the area and were declined entry at a nearby pub because we had a dog, well we were so glad of that afterwards. The Scott Arms welcomed us with opened arms. We had superb food, very friendly service and beautiful views! The pub and garden was very busy, but that didn't show in the service.

We visited The Scott Arms two nights in a row, the staff are very friendly and helpful, good choice of wines and the beer garden view is amazing. We ordered Hake with Chorizo from the specials board this evening and it was lovely, we also tried the soup and mussel starter, all very nice! I would recommend a visit ;)

First and last time on visiting this pub for food. Went on a Sunday, arrived at 2.30 pm, OK didn't expect any roasts left, so not that worried. Ordered different meals; a prawn cocktail, tomato and basil penne and a "special" jerk chicken (which was a chicken leg.., with a syrup sauce and spice). Waited 40 mins for what was... More

Dear Laceyswey I was very disappointed to read your review. We do get extremely busy on Sundays with reservations and though we do try to cater for walk in customers there is often a long wait. However I always expect the food when it arrives to be up to standard and apologise if this was not the case on this... More

We visited the pub on the Thursday before Good Friday as we were camping nearby. It is in the most fantastic location and the views to Corfe are gorgeous. We had an evening meal at the pub which was ok. The pub was very busy which I am sure is the norm here but there seemed to be very few... More

We popped in here with friends late last Saturday afternoon after day out for a quick pint - first time ever visit. Sensational location with lovely gardens overlooking Corfe Castle, in distance. \in the late afternoon Spring light the castle was truly magical!
