Just returned from a 2 night stay at Alford House and it was delightful! The house was charming and characterful as well as having all of the conveniences and mod cons. Our room was cosy, clean and homely and I slept extremely well. The house was situated near the main road but there was no noise at all and the... More

Stayed for two nights and cost us £75 per night. Found the B and B no problem, parking is at the front of the property and involves some maneuvering to get over the kerb edge? Entrance to the property for guests is the door in the left hand corner not the one where you park your car, anyway arrived to... More

Without doubt the owner is welcoming and helpful; accommodation is clean and pleasant. My room was a tad small for two people but adequate for someone travelling alone. The property is about a ten minute slow walk to Corfe village, which is picture postcard. For such a tiny village it has lots to do and many places for eating-cream teas are... More

This is a great place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were very comfortable. Susie is the perfect hostess and the breakfasts were high quality and delicious, served in a beautiful room. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. The village is picturesque and interesting, only the busy road detracts.... More

We were cycling the Petit Tour de Manche when we spent a night at Alford House. We were made very welcome with tea and biscuits on arrival which is always appreciated. The room overlooking the garden was lovely and facilities were all you could wish for. A short walk across fields to the castle is a must and a good... More

Lovely bed and breakfast - Susie is very hospitable from the moment of making the booking to when you check out! We stayed in the smaller room towards the back of the house which was cosy, comfy, clean nicely decorated and just what we wanted! Breakfast was fab - a huge range including a very tasty full english (we chose... More

A nice B&B and Susie clearly goes to a lot of trouble to trouble to accommodate the individual needs of her guests. Both the welcome cup-of-tea and the fresh milk for later were very much appreciated. Corfe Castle itself was very busy when we stayed - well it is a very attractive place and it was a Bank Holiday so... More

A small B&B in a large imposing and good looking stone house.Nicely furnished breakfast room/lounge with lots of books and maps of the area. I had a really nice cosy en-suite bedroom at the rear of the property. Comfortable bed allowed an excellent nights sleep.Very good breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for Susie, the owner. Excellent pub serving very good... More

Not much to add to previous travellers reviews. We asked for a quiet room and were given the one at the back. Only complaint was that the bed was rather hard. i appreciate this is a personal thing and you can't please everyone.
