More than a B&B, this is an experience. The gardens, the views from the room, and the keepers. As friendly as you can be, more than eco friendly, and imaginative. A step from the coastal pathway which leads to the beach. Keeps you out of the hassle of Lyme Regis and yet you are a short drive and possible walk... More

This is a very good B&B. The view is fantastic. The rooms are lovely and clean. The breakfast is top quality, and is not the same everyday. The owners are lovely and helpful, and speak English and German (and maybe more). The garden out the back leads down to the beach, and the photos are exactly what it looks like.... More

Lovely room with seating area. Beautiful garden to sit in or view from your room. Immaculately clean. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Small fridge available for personal use. Great powerful shower with toietries.I would highly recommend this b&b to adults.

This was without doubt THE best Bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. We arrived in the late afternoon, and were greeted with a smile and a lovely tea tray to relax with in the stunning garden - this set the tone for our stay :) The room was immaculate, with everything you could want, comfy, clean, and very... If you're looking for peace and quiet by the sea this really is the place. My wife and I were here for four nights this week. The two guest rooms have expansive sea views, the ambient atmosphere of quiet Charmouth is everywhere around, and it's a couple of minutes down to the beach - via the back garden gate if... More

My wife and i stayed for three nights in September 2012.The two dormer guest rooms offer a wonderful view from the rear of this very comfortable bungalow, with a large, tidy garden that you can relax in or extend your legs to the clifftop and it's view's to the Jurassic Coast.Staying midweek was so peaceful,we had the room with the adjustable beds,so... Located on Dorset's Jurassic Coast, Cliffend's back gate opens directly onto the coastal path so the views are amazing - even from the bathroom! The fabulous breakfasts include perfect eggs from the hens next door and homemade bread. The spotlessly clean rooms are thoughtfully supplied and the beds are really comfy. Janice and Peter are consummate hosts - so generous... More

We stayed at Cliffend over the Valentine's Day weekend. As the only people staying there, we were offered a choice of either room - both were nice and cosy with fantastic views straight out over the sea. The ensuite bathroom was immaculate, with a very powerful shower. It perhaps wasn't the most modern decor, but it was in keeping with... More

We rolled into the Lyme Regis Tourist Info Centre on the final sunny weekend of September, in search of a place to lay our heads for the night. Since the weather was so good (what a relief after a such a soggy summer), there were no B&B rooms left in Lyme Regis, so the TIC clerk suggested the Cliffend in... More
