What a little gem! After a "where am I going" moment. The road is narrow but do not be put off because this place is a gem!!! Da e is a superb host, so welcoming and a superb guide for the area. The room has everything you could wish for and more. Breakfast well, we died and went to heaven... More

Dave is really friendly and full of information about the local area he really could not be more helpful. Breakfast time was a great event setting you up for the day. By the end of our stay going back to Wisteria cottage was like returning home such was the welcome and relaxing atmosphere. We would not hesitate to recommend a... More

An amazing B&B - we had 4 nights in the double room with a spectacular view over the Marshwood Vale - the cottage is in a peaceful setting up a country lane and yet you are only a few minutes away from lovely beaches. Dave is a great host and very knowledgable about the area and has thought of so... More

This was our second visit and cannot fault our stay in any way! It was simply wonderful from the warm welcome from Dave, the amazing breakfasts, the views, the room. I could wax lyrical for a long time!We also managed to hear the nightjars this time whilst hanging out the window admiring the milky way. Dave always comes up trumps... More

A stroke of luck found Wisteria Cottage after googling the whole area. We had such a warm welcome from Dave and Spookie the cat with lovely biscuits on tap. The view from all windows was sensational and our room very welcoming with everything we could possibly need. All in all an excellent weekend away! Thanks Dave.

I landed at Wisteria Cottage, where I spend eight blissful nights, thanks to a fortuitous local referral from a B&B neighbour. As Tim Truluck whose two-night stay coincided with mine, has already noted, this is indeed a special place with all the amenities you could wish for plus fabulous views and a wonderful and most helpful host (plus Spooky the... Attention to detail and comfort seems to be the byword of this BnB. It's in a quiet country lane with fab views over the valley below. The room was a comfy double with seperate shower and loo. Free wifi, TV (didnt use), tea/coffee/hot drinks, great breakfast, lots of local info, and the pub is only a 1km walk/drive away. One... More
