Stayed for one night . We arrived and Pub was closed but we were shown our rooms which are more like suites. Beautifully furnished and a wonderful view of the countryside . We were offered a drink in the bar and the owners arranged a taxi for us as we had booked a restaurant in Wedt Bay . If we... More

The room was brilliant. Clean. Comfy. Spacious. Shower good. Pub food wasn't as expected, thought it would be fancy gastro pub but it was more regular pub food. So I was a bit disappointed in the menu but the food was done well so it's fine. Breakfast wasn't the usual "pick what you want from the cooked menu and how... More

Sunday lunch in places like Lyme or Bridport can be a bit of a scramble, so we decided to go inland and find another Dorset gem. We were not disappointed.Pleasant welcome by a young East European girl, and we were quickly served with our drinks. Starters were a soufflé and rabbit terrine. Both were good. My partner chose mushroom linguini, and... More

We stayed last week. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We ate twice and enjoyed the food, particularly the fish. The size of the menu was large enough to know that everything was fresh and it was well cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive and we will certainly return.

Six of us dined here last night as we wanted to try out the new chef at our local pub. We were not disappointed, far from it, we all agreed our meal was of very good quality indeed. The cheese soufflé starter was deliciously light, the steak and mushroom pies excellent and my fish, chips and mushy peas were the... More

Had lunch here mid-January 2015, the food was nicely cooked and good quality but the menu was tiny. We were told that the current incumbents had taken the pub over very recently. I expect the kitchen knows what it is doing but don't go purely on the strength of previous reviews.

So I went to Dorset on holiday with my boyfriend and his family, and we stayed in a cottage just up the road from The Three Horseshoes Inn. A lovely, picturesque place situated in the country side. We ate there twice during our stay, the first time was to try it out and the second time we went after a... More

We ate twice at the Three Horseshoes. Both meals were delicious, the beer is well kept and the views from the patio are to die for. A lovely pub with a relaxed atmosphere. Book in advance as it's a busy place.

We have just spent two nights at The Three Horseshoes Inn. We had the most relaxing chilled time. You are made to feel from the moment you arrive that whatever you feel like doing is fine by all. The bar doesn't open till 6pm but we had drinks sent to our room which we enjoyed in the garden overlooking hills.... More
