My husband and I stayed on a travelzoo deal with dinner, bed and breakfast, plus afternoon tea. When we arrived we were greated by a very friendly and helpful member of staff who told us we had been upgraded to the best room in the hotel! As we were on a deal, we were very surprised and it got our... More

Spent two nights at this hotel last week on a travel zoo deal. Cream tea, two night B&B & dinner on one night. Lovely place to stay. Staff very friendly. Cream tea when we arrived was served in the beautiful garden. Dinner & breakfast was amazing. We would highly recommend staying here. Pete & Jo Suffolk.

We stayed for one night, the room was a tad on the small size, but that was reflected in the price. The carpet was quite badly stained, the shower was weak and there was no bathmat - all things that could be remedied by Housekeeping. Staff were generally good, (lovely check-in staff) except for a rather superior older member who... More

Dear Surreyite, Thank you so much for your valued review. I am obviously concerned to hear about the housekeeping issues which you can be sure I will follow up. I have a good idea who you a referring to on reception and suspect you that you may have taken her comments the wrong way. None of our staff are elitist... More

This is a great little hotel, some may think the position is too far away from the coast, but that has its benefits too as it is a little more upmarket then some nearer the coast, probably with the exception of the Bull in Bridport. The rooms are very nice, but try to steer away from any of those above... More

Dear Persia-Bellini, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave a considered review. I am pleased that overall your stay was good. However, I was obviously concerned to hear about the 'niggles' with regard to service. All I can say is that we have recently appointed a new restaurant manager with Michelin starred experience who we have every... More

We thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at the Bridge House Hotel booked through Travelzoo. We were delighted to be upgraded to a superior room in the main house. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Included in the offer was dinner for two on the first night and a delicious cream tea, with wonderful home made scones and raspberry... More

Attentive staff and great food. Loved the lampshades!! The only thing that was a bit annoying was the heat.. You couldn't really adjust it and the large georgian window had to be open to let the heat out!! Good thing that we sleep with windows open!

Travelzoo offer and Im so glad that I found this little gem of a hotel! From start to finish you could not fault this hotel and if you do you don't deserve to stay here as it's perfect! The staff were wonderful, our room number 15 was perfect and the hotel is full of charm! The food is London quality... More

I have just returned from a two night stay at the Bridge House Hotel booked through Travelzoo. Included in the offer was dinner for two on the first night and afternoon tea. On arrival the hotel is full of old world charm. This is in no way a stuffy, run of the mill hotel. Its comfortable, welcoming and charming. We... More

A super two night stay in comfortable room and atmospheric surroundings highlighted by great food and friendly staff. A memorable birthday treat for me and those snails tasted superb as part of my cooked breakfast.

We stayed in this great little hotel for 5 nights in March. There were 2 of us and a baby. We booked one of the family rooms in the main hotel - which was perfect - a king bed in the main room, with a separate room for the baby co-joined. It was more like having a flat with 2... More
