Quirky but very welcoming. Lots of animals in the back garden. Rooms excellent. Host very accommodating. It's also quiet and Chessil beach is within walking distance (easily). Breakfast; as good as I've had anywhere. Thoroughly recommended - will be visiting again, soon.

We stayed for the one night in this pretty farmhouse, we had a lovely warm welcome from our host, inside the house is cosy and traditional, decorated in old English vintage, antiques, dolls and dogs. Around the back of the cottage there is available off road parking. The working farmhouse has some lovely horses, ducks and chickens. Rooms are comfortable... More

To start with, Abbotsbury is a lovely little village and the B&B does it full justice. It is almost like walking into a "doll's house". The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Easy to find and off street parking is a good start, and was greeted cordially by Wendy's daughter, shown to our room and being disabled I had a bit of trouble getting up the stairs which went back in time due to it being a farm type long house packed to the rafters with a huge amount of collectibles going back... Myself and a friend stayed here for one night last week on our way back to London after a road trip around Cornwall. This B&B is very central to the adorable village of Abbotsbury and well located for exploring the nearby coastline. The property itself appears lovely and charming from the exterior but is quite disappointing inside. Cluttered beyond belief... More

We received a warm welcome on our arrival. The property has lots of local character. Yes, it's highly decorated with ornaments, dolls, and the like, but in my opinion it adds to the charm of the place. It's in a very quiet and peaceful location but very close to the coast and only about a 30-35 minute drive from Durdle... More

The rooms are in a quaint old farmhouse crammed with antiques, bric-a-brac and knickknacks. Rooms are colour-themed and our Rose room had twee and ancient pink stuff on every wall and surface - lamps with lacy shades, glassware and ornaments, imitation flowers; even the liquid soap and shampoo were pink. Barbara Cartland might have loved it but not to our... More

Warm welcome and family run B&B. The house is obviously cared for and so loved. A safe and interesting place. If you like clean lines and no clutter then this is NOT the place for you. If you like lots of local history, dolls & ornaments and a family home and a great welcome then this is a great place... More

Stone-built farmhouse in a village but with stables round a courtyard and private off-road parking. Comfortable and cosy, with a very friendly hostess, and a truly excellent breakfast. Very atmospheric and welcoming, would recommend it highly.

This B&B was clean and the bed was comfortable, beautiful house and setting. The decor was a little eccentric, loads of dolls, china and artificial flowers. If half of it was removed it would be lovely and characterful, but the amount on show made it feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming. But it is a matter of personal preference I... More
