Came across this tearoom after a visit to the swannery. A lovely and reasonable afternoon tea served in a very well cared for garden. You wouldn't realise the garden was there from the front but is well worth venturing through the tearoom for. Tea came with two huge scones and plenty of all important clotted cream. Do visit.

We stopped in Abbotsbury yesterday afternoon on our way home from Dartmouth. This tea room was tucked out of the way but as we ventured in we discovered a beautiful garden with plenty of seating. The staff were lovely and friendly making us welcome. My husband and I shared the cream tea as it came with 2 scones! Fabulous .

We stayed here whilst walking the South West Coast Path and arrived on a lovely warm and sunny afternoon. We were offered tea and sat in the tea garden enjoying the sunshine before being shown to our room at the front of the house. We were aware of the traffic passing very close to our window but we were not... More

This will be one of my rare 5 star ratings, and every star is honestly earned - we never made experiences like this, zravelling to England since 1994 and have seen dozens of good and average B&b's, but this is one is WONDERFUL. if you are looking for a fairy tale village close to a wonderful coast and National Trust... A splendid stay here - atmostphere was very calm and laid back with a splendid balance of efficiency and informality. Breakfast was excellent and the small collection of up to date local books and guides much appreciated

We first stayed here four years ago when we came down to visit the Enchanted Floodlit Walk at the Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens so a return visit last weekend meant we re-booked a room at this lovely little B&B. There was a warm welcome from Roger and Lyn, the rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast was of a good... More

We stayed here during a walking expedition along the Jurassic Coast. It was truly lovely. The rooms had real character and great attention to detail (the towels really could be described as fluffy!). Sadly my partner was very unwell when we arrived (horrible migraine) and the owners were so kind and helpful to her. The breakfast was the best we... More

We were welcomed with the offer of a cup of tea and showed to a beautiful good sized room, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Very friendly and helpful owners gave us guidance on what is on offer in Abbotsbury. Our room had a very comfortable bed and thoughtful extras were provided like a torch for walking back from the pub... More

Abbotsbury Tea Rooms is a small B&B in the lovely village of Abbotsbury, Dorset, UK. Hosts are most accommodating, rooms are well appointed and clean, garden is peaceful and nicely cared for. Excellent breakfast which can be taken in the garden. Only drawbacks are no on-site parking and traffic noise can disturb alight sleeper.

This gem of a country B&B is a slice of heaven. Lynn & Roger are the most welcoming and friendly hosts you will ever meet they have "Done it right"! My wife and I were fortunate enough to have been treated to an over night stay at this wonderful establishment by our best friends who accompanied us on the trip.... More
