We visited this hotel for a day as a treat at the end of our holiday, we used the leisure facilities and had a cream tea which was lovely. I had a facial which was of a good standard, the hotel did seem to be quite full with kids running around with no parents but it was raining and I... More

Stayed for 2 nights ( bed and breakfast) on a special "cosy room on the coast" deal. The deal was for a "smaller and more quirky room" and indeed it was. This Victorian hotel (4 star) was clean and well decorated but reflected its age. The breakfast was good, well presented and cooked section, hot. The staff were friendly and... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night in a sea view and balcony room. The hotel is in a great position dominating the sea front of Woolacombe with lovely views and gardens. The front of house staff on both days were very friendly and efficient and provided a good start to our stay. The room we were in... More

I recently got married at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel and can i say the hotel and staff were fantastic. All of our guests said how beautiful the hotel was. I couldn't have picked a more perfect place to marry my best friend.

We recently went to wedding reception in this hotel, a family member is wheelchair bound and it was hell. The Reception was in a beautiful ballroom, I think an addition to the original hotel. Trying to get a wheelchair around was dreadful, but the worst part was that when said person needed the toilet, the self contained function suite did... More

We spent our 10th Anniversary at the Woolacombe Bay on weekend of 27th September 2014. We have always wanted to stay here and looked forward to spending a romantic 10th Anniversary without the Kids, very much! The weekend started off well enough when we checked in we were informed the room was not quite ready but this was not a... More

I stayed for a surfing weekend. The hotel is 2 minutes from the beach and has been refurbed so that all amenities seem good. The seaview balcony rooms are excellent. The rooms not 5* luxury but is more than adequate for a lovely weekend. Good value breakfasts in a lovely dining room. Surf shop and village is next door. I would... More

Devon cream teas advertised, we tried. Delivered to the lawn on Slate Plates. Brilliant sliver service style delivery and presentation. Scrumptious Devon cream teas Lawn in front of the hotel borders the hotels gold course which is situated in front of the woolacombe beach.

We have stayed at this Hotel many times over the past years and it never fails to impress and exceed its high standards - every year they refurbish part of the hotel keeping it up to standard in both décor and function. The staff are very attentive and genuinely want to help and care for you. I love the place.

The hotel accommodation was lovely and sea view rooms have a great view of the grounds and Bay. The outside pool was great and secluded with plenty of seating and sun beds around the pool. The hotel restaurant was really nice and the food excellent. Staff were all vey efficient and friendly.
