Brillant location for walking and cycling, easy walk into Woolacombe central for eating and drinking. Excellent room views and hosts , Also enjoyed thetowels brilliant for when you return from a quick English weather experience (rain)

We stayed in Downland House for two nights in July 2012. Downland House is a lovely, large Edwardian House, just a very short walk from the centre of Woolacombe. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a lovely stay. The bed was so comfy and I loved the decor of room 3 and the big fluffy towels were fab. The breakfast was really enjoyable, in fact I think it's one of the best I have had. We would definetly stay there again.

Went on line Mon night when weather looked settled booked B&B arrived Wed morning excellent room with balcony overlooking hillside and beach amazing views. Very well decorated throughout.
