Downland House is a very comfortable, family run Guest House with just 3 rooms. The rooms all have sunny balconies overlooking the valley away to the beach and sea view. The breakfast is everything you could wish for and more and Cilla and Keith were the perfect friendly hosts.

We had a faultless few days stay whilst at “Downland House”. Our hosts, Cilla & Keith we’re both courteous & engaging offering just the right amount of interaction. Our room (No 1) had two wonderful views. The side window offered an outlook out to Lundy & the French doors onto the balcony yielded a stunning panoramic view of the bay... More

Excellent little bed and breakfast. 3 main rooms, very peaceful , lovely views across Woolacombe village and the bay. We were made very welcome, with a hearty breakfast for the 2 days we were there. Rooms were nicely decorated, and very comfortable. There are becoming less places to stay in Woolacombe and we are so pleased to have found another... More

The house is superbly decorated and the rooms are extremely comfortable. In fact I didn't think anything would beat the comfiness of a Premier... More
