The owners of Wellington Farm were lovely and trusting people. They held an advanced booking for us from 8 months prior from Australia. They were very friendly and were happy to show our children around their farm. We booked the deluxe cottage which was great for a family of four, and as it had a kitchen we able to self... More

We found this place from booking.com so the price was very good. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room (heather) was spacious and very clean (with a new carpet). The breakfast was great but why do B&B's only toast the bread on one side? Oh and a special mention for the sausages made from their own pigs :)

From the moment we arrived, our host's were cheerful, welcoming and informative .Helping with directions and recommendations. We stayed on the lower ground floor bedroom with en-suite, clean, comfortable and warm we had a delightful nights rest. Breakfast, well what can i say delicious, bacon and sausages were amazing, nothing to be skimped on here, we were asked how many eggs... More

No Wifi in the room (contrary to what was specified on website). The noise of the room due to traffic. Our cat was accepted when we arrived at night (and we paid an extra for him) but was then rejected in the morning (contrary to what was specified on website). The rudeness and lack of respect of the owner who... More

Animal lovers like ourselves will find this upsetting; You arrived late and had not informed us you were bringing a pet (as required on Booking.com website). During check in there was a noise from one of your bags and you owned up to having a cat with you (in a small shoulder bag with no light or ventilation). My wife... More

We needed to break our journey home and chose this B&B at random and could not have chosen better. Good car parking and a friendly welcome from Marcia and Gary got us off to a flying start. The rooms were clean and provided with everything we needed to make our stay pleasant, the beds were extremely comfortable and we had... More

A bit of a curates egg this review – the average rating reflects aspects of the accommodation and location not the farm itself, the hosts or the food served, all of which were excellent. The Hosts Marcia and Gary are second to none in their welcome, friendliness and personal attention. However, Wellington Farm BnB sits next to a busy road... More

I think a lot of reviewers have let the hosts great hospitality cloud their judgement so I'll write the review I wish I had read before booking a stay at Wellington Farm. Apart from the hospitality the breakfast was also decent. The cabins are very basic and no frills-which would have been fine but at £85 a night represented terrible... More

We have had many delightful people stay at Wellington Farm throughout the years and your reason as to why they have left us lovely reviews is absurd and insulting to their integrity.. In the Lodge there is a brand new fridge and microwave ample heaters, a kettle, tea, coffee, mugs, luxury power shower, a bottle of shower gel and shampoo... More
