Brilliant hosts, wonderful breakfast, amazing views and location. An extremely idyllic setting with everything anyone could ask for. The resident Kingfisher was a sight to remember, so too were the ducks and swans. Tony and Jane

No need to prevaricate about choice of superlatives as this B&B is just perfect. An idyllic setting and wonderful friendly and consiiderate hosts. I don't recommend bringing the Bentley down these narrow country lanes!!

One could not fault this B&B, well up in the usual Sawday's tradition of excellence. The rooms were divine overlooking the dart tributary which, because of the tide, was a constantly changing view. The hosts were brilliant and the breakfasts wonderful. A truly terrific experience; we will be back!

The location is lovely and our rooms were comfortable. Everything you need including binoculars! I second the pleasure of just watching the river and the birds. We had a small accident with our car and Roger really went beyond the call of duty to help us. Thank you once again. Roger cooks a super breakfast and there is a very... More

What can we say, we have just got back from a few nights away, we arrived really late on Thursday, it we not the plan but Felicity and Roger were on hand to help us in! It was very late, take that into consideration when travelling from London. We had booked in for dinner in the local pub, as we... More

We stayed here a month ago and we loved it. We just wanted somewhere to get away from it all. If you want to be far away from everyone but close enough to visit things, this is the place. The breakfasts were stunning and Felicity is such a wonderful host. Lovely place to go for walks and even better.....you can... More

Just got back from our 3rd stay at Riverside. Roger & Felicity always make us feel so welcome that it is easy to sit back and relax from the moment you get there. The location is stunning being right next to Bow Creek on the River Dart. Being tidal you can just sit at the open door to your bedroom... More

My partner and I stayed hear, finding it by chance, and we're delighted when we arrived at a beautiful thatched house on te edge of the dart. Both rooms overlook the dart, with small balconettes, and our room was in the eaves. A wonderful experience lying in bed and being able to see the water. Great host and lovely breakfast,

The house is located in a beautiful and somewhat enchanted area. There's a river directly beneath the garden on which you have a great view from one of the guestrooms. Although we just stayed for one night (and arrived earlier than planned), the host Felicity did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. You can go for a walk... More

We had a flying visit to Riverside House but Felicity and Roger made sure that for the short time that we were there we had a really fantastic time. Not wanting to eat at the pub due to our late arrival, we had brought a picnic with us and asked if we might eat it in the garden, sheepishly mentioning... More
