We stayed at the Brambles two nights weekend of the 4th/5th July as we were attending a wedding nearby. Very easy to find if you followed the directions, although the narrow, one vehicle width roads in the area were a bit of a shock as we're used to 'normal' two width roads. We had a warm welcome from the owners... More

Pub nearby in Uplowman with good food. Lovely cooked breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners. Charming room in converted farm building, although the room was a bit cramped. Directions to Brambles were good. Be prepared for narrow lanes with high hedges. Lovely walks. No problem with visiting Cothay Manor, a medieval manor, from Brambles.

Stayed here the night before a wedding, booked as wasn't excessively far and it was a late booking. Cost £34 for the night but had a lovely double room with a comfy bed, the refreshments tray was well stocked and lovely, the bathroom was clean and very nice. The best thing though were the owners who were so very accommodating... More

I stayed in this bed & breakfast on Friday 31 January having read a number of excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. The B&B offers excellent value accommodation. The room that I stayed in was an annex to the main house and was very spacious and comfortable. The room came equipped with free wifi and a TV with in-built DVD,... More

We stayed one night on our way to Cornwall based mainly on location and price. This was probably the lowest rate I've paid for a B&B in the UK so I was somewhat concerned about quality. I needn't have worried. We had a very comfortable and clean room which is all I could ask for. The proprietor was welcoming and... More

My partner and I stayed in the Brambles for just one night. From the moment we arrived we were made so very welcome by the owner. This B&B was just perfect . Breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh just for us. Wish we could have stayed longer, but alas it was only a flying visit. Will certainly stay here again... More

What an absolute gem of a place! We were lucky enough to get the Garden Room and my goodness, what a bargain! Such a lovely room, and so comfortable. The weather outside really was dreadful, but we were warm and toasty, with no hint of the storm outside affecting us. The problem we had finding the place was mostly due... More

We had received directions from the owner ahead of coming but it is a very small place and it was dark. I saw a sign that said whitnage cottage and knocked. A friendly old man answered the door and informed me the bnb was actually next door! I apologised and as we were coming round the corner we were greeted... More

Me and my patner booked and stayed here for one night just as a little get-away and relax time away from home. Really enjoyed our stay, couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Very welcome, warm and cosy. Will definatley be recommending. Very quiet and subdude and very relaxing. Plenty of tea and coffee, even biscuits as a welcome! Everything... More
