Booked this BB last minute for one night only. Good location, lovely hosts, great breakfast and comfy bed. Great value for money. All you could ask for in a B&B. Would stay again if in area.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I have stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for our traditional holiday to Devon for two years, and there is a reason we always seek to come to this B&B in particular! The location could not be better, right on the harbour, very picturesque with very short walking distance to all the local pubs and quant shops... More

Me and my boyfriend were on our way to visit some family in Shaldon and last minute his mother decided to book us this bed and breakfast due to some logistical issues. We arrived really late and the owner was still up and ready to accommodate us. We slept like babies that night - it was quiet and our bed... More

We had great time at Farthings. The place was wonderful, clean, in a beautiful setting and the owners were very friendly (really lovely people). I recommend it and I would love to stay there next time I visit Shaldon!

The house is in a pleasant walking distance of the main village, the parking can be tricky but it always is in that area, friendly people -great cooked breakfast which could see through the day and comfortable bed. Good value for money.

We had a great time with superb breakfasts!! David and Diane really made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble, even to giving us a lift in the car!! You do have to realise that it is a 10 minute walk into Shaldon, but it was quite pleasant along the Estuary. Overall we were very impressed.

We dont often stay in B&B, typically I travel a lot on business and stay in clone hotels. so its really nice to engage with some people who genuinely want to make you and your familly feel welcome. The owners went to great lengths to help us in any way possible, from helping us to park, taking the luggage up... More

Friendly welcome, good breakfast (pre-order your choices the night before), quiet location. It is just outside Shaldon in Ringmore, next to an interesting old church, and a very pleasant 20-minute walk (views across the estuary) from the centre of Shaldon itself (i.e. the nearest places to shop and eat). Shaldon is a jewel, (but I imagine most young people would... More
