We had a lovely weekend here with our three children ages 4, 12 and 14. Not much to keep the older ones entertained on site but not far to drive to nearby attractions and other beaches etc. The older kids loved crabbing in Torquay, couldn't drag them away and we all enjoyed getting back to the camp for some light... We Recently returned from Devon valley holiday village and we visited for the week, we stayed in the static caravans closest to lake teignmouth and the view is superb to sit on the decking for your morning breakfast and just gets better throughout the day, we went down with a few family friends which have a rather large speedboat and... I've travelled to many holiday parks for over 30 years ever since I was a child, as such speak with some experience, devon valley would be a great holiday park but is let down by being overpriced for the conditions of accommodation and will explain as follows:- LOCATION.....very good location sitting beside river teign where when the tides out you... I liked this little site, well situated on the River Teign. I can't comment on the food in the pub/restaurant, I didn't eat there as it didn't really tempt me. Would I come back? Perhaps; the accommodation needs some serious investment though. We were in the Ashcombe Super caravans, they're getting tatty. Pros: Lovely location on the river, perfect for... More

What a gem! Stayed with my two boys in a Galleon chalet. Recommended via a contact on facebook. Brilliant on every aspect you want from a holiday: accomodation;value for money; safe environment for two boys aged 7 & 11; food and choice of. It was so good for the boys we never required the onsite entertainment. Recommend the half board... More

We went here for a weeks holiday, and overall we had a really good time. The staff were great, the food was good, the entertainment was good, and the views were lovely. We stayed in one of the chalets and it was like going back in time! The furnishings are really old and the room smelt a bit damp. These... More

We have just arrived back from, without question, the worst holiday accommodation I've ever experienced. We checked in on Saturday 25th July after a long journey to be given the keys to our dog-friendly chalet, along with bedding (uncovered, good job it wasn't raining!) and was then told that I would have to buy a card for the electric! Shelled... More

The location of Devon valley is fantastic and with walkable distant to the gorgeous shaldon, beach, cafes and pubs. The site itself is stuck in the past We first went to Dv 14years ago and not much has changed. Sadly this will be our last visit, our children have outgrown Dv and the ridiculous wifi system didn't help with our... More
