What a fabulous place. Modern, quaint, contemporary but so tastefully done. Rooms are delightful with estuary views (even the side rooms from the balcony). Clean, quirky with everything you could need. Staff were great, helpful but not intrusive and breakfast good. We were there in the rain (unfortunately) can imagine how amazing it would be in the sunshine!

Thanks to Rachel and her team on making our stay brilliant. The room was clean and had excellent views of the estuary. The breakfast was well cooked and presented with a panoramic views. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. The evening meals were good with an excellent choice of draught beers. The prices for meals and drinks... More

Second time this year, good value for money and truly beautiful place, could get a bit busy and noisy but such a beautiful place. Food ok and friendly but haphazard staff, generally very relaxing and enjoyable - will definitely come back!

The location of the Ness is picture perfect overlooking the Teign Estuary and Teignmouth. Our room (11) had been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The first impression was very homely with attractive blue wood panelling throughout. The ornaments were carefully chosen and the nautical theme was very well achieved. The king size bed was super comfy. All the... More

We stayed for two nights in a beautiful big room with stunning views and a shared balcony. Only complaint I have is the bathroom was a little on the small side and had a very damp smell, I think with the sink being as tiny as it was most of the water whilst getting washed was ending up on the... Our table was booked for 1.15 and although we only had a main course, an ice cream and a coffee each, it took two and a half hours. Having asked for the bill and waited some considerable time, my husband had to go and find someone to request it again! People were complaining about the service, which was unfair, as... More

I’d like to apologise for your lengthy and disappointing visit to The Ness yesterday. We did have a very busy day and the kitchen team worked flat out all day. Something that we find at The Ness is that on Sunny Days ( and it was a stunning one) everybody wants to sit outside and we actually have more covers... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in April and again for 2 nights in May. The rooms had just been refurbished and we were the first guests to stay in the premier double. WOW what a bathroom and the views over the river and Teignmouth were superb. Very comfortable and great breakfast. We had dinner one night which was great... More

The Ness is in a great location with great views out to sea and the enterance to Teignmouth estuary. The hotel has recently been renovated and quirky, not your typical corporate hotel. I think the expression is shabby chic. The room was good, again with the quirky style, the shower was the big drench type shower head that I love.... More

Lovely place to either eat in but better than that is to sit outside and soak up the amazing view with a nice drink or two. plenty of places to sit either in front of the Ness or opposite on the grassy area. Popular place but you can always find somewhere to sit. Parking is not a problem, large car... More
