We stayed here for 2 nights in April and again for 2 nights in May. The rooms had just been refurbished and we were the first guests to stay in the premier double. WOW what a bathroom and the views over the river and Teignmouth were superb. Very comfortable and great breakfast. We had dinner one night which was great... More

The Ness is in a great location with great views out to sea and the enterance to Teignmouth estuary. The hotel has recently been renovated and quirky, not your typical corporate hotel. I think the expression is shabby chic. The room was good, again with the quirky style, the shower was the big drench type shower head that I love.... More

Lovely place to either eat in but better than that is to sit outside and soak up the amazing view with a nice drink or two. plenty of places to sit either in front of the Ness or opposite on the grassy area. Popular place but you can always find somewhere to sit. Parking is not a problem, large car... More

We booked for a 4 night stay at the Ness. We stayed in Room 1 which is a little small but beautifully appointed. A kind of quirky beach hut feel! The balcony afforded great views of Teignmouth and the estuary. This pub/hotel is in an absolutely superb location. The car park is very small and restricted but this is no problem... More

Recently renovated rooms are excellent, with lovely views and good service. Breakfast was also good, only downside is rooms are above bar / restaurant and can be noisy. Nice touches in room with TV showing view over sea and mirror/TV is bathroom with deep copper tub.

OK pub great location, just had a beer tanglefoot, which tasted a bit tired, lots of beers in fridge, in bottles, but only one cask on, a little disappointing re beer range, but great view from beer garden.

Dropped in on the off chance, hoping to get a room for the night. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome, the staff were so lovely and friendly. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a seaside theme but quite chic. We loved every detail, obviously someone had put a lot of... More

Had a very nice lunch here (6 of us) really good customer service, high quality food and a scenic view to top it all. Not too busy, food came just at the right time and was fresh, flavorsome and filling!

Had lunch out today, great weather, great location, great good. When are pubs going to realise that staff need some training - to smile, welcome you, be helpful, to drink wine we need glasses and to eat a starter we need side plates. All these things were not rocket science but staff didn't appear to be on it - we... More

We booked late so had the last room in the annexe which didn't have a sea view but was very peaceful and benefited from a west facing balcony which was a real treat. The room is small but beautifully decorated. Lack of shelves or drawers could be a problem if you are staying a week, we lived out of our... More
