This hotel is beautifully situated on the cliffs. We stayed just the one night but enjoyed our lovely room. The main dining room is spectacular....mainly a wall of glass wrapping 180 degrees around the cliff. We didn't dine there as the menu on that particular night didn't quite suit us but I rather wish we had as the food in... More

We have just returned from our second stay at Watersmeet and enjoyed every minute. The location is fantastic and overlooks a beautiful rocky beach with a panoramic dining room that makes the most of the view. We stayed with our two young children and found the staff really friendly and accommodating. I can honestly say it is one of the... More

Spent one night here in early May, so it was lovely and quiet. The hotel is perched on the edge of the cliff round the corner from the hustle and bustle of Woolacombe, so very secluded. The views from my bedroom were wonderful. The hotel is decorated in a New England/relaxed style and feels bright, spacious and modern without being... More

Our check in time was 15.00hrs it was not ready until 16.30. We parked the car and started to upload the luggage, thank god we are... More

We have recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Watersmeet Hotel. We had a deluxe room, it was spacious, clean, airy and very comfortable with a fantastic sea view. We stopped on a dinner bed & breakfast basis and all the food was excellent, eating in the restaurant was a real highlight of our holiday for many reasons.... More

Just back from 3 night stay. Stayed in deluxe room with balcony overlooking the sea - everything just perfect, room spotlessly clean, restaurant serving delicious food with variation to menu each day. For those that like walking it's a haven - can forget driving for a few days - glorious coastal path walks. Great indoor pool and Spa pool. Friendly... More

Thank you for your recent view, I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your trip to the Watersmeet. We are so fortunate to be so well located with the close proximity to the sea. With the weather we have been having, sitting out on the balcony particularly after dinner - listening to the sound of the sea is like... More

If you are after a hotel that offers you perfect unspoilt views and an excellent location then this is the place for you but be careful on booking your room! There is a large surcharge for a view which is to be expected. What was not expected was the room with no window at all! This was our room- room... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay however I'm not sure why you were not expecting a sun pipe room on arrival. When you booked the sun pipe room through a third party the room description clearly stated it didn’t have a conventional window. These 2 budget rooms are extremely popular as they offer good value,... More

The Watersmeet hotel located on the quiet edge of Woolacombe is one of Devon's finest coastal hotels. It is perfectly perched on the cliff edge above a quiet, sandy beach known as Combegate beach. All but three of the bedrooms offer spectacular sea views to Lundy Island and Baggy Point. A number of the bedrooms have original wooden balconies where you can sit and watch magnificent sunsets. The seaward side of the hotel offers one long, uninterrupted panorama and whether you're reading the paper in the lounge or dining in the restaurant you can enjoy the most wonderful views of the sea and rolling surf. The very best pocket sprung beds; thick, luxurious duvets; crisp white linen and superior memory foam pillows ensure a comfortable night's sleep. The table d'hote and bistro restaurants offer a high standard of cuisine. 2 AA rosette awarded many of the ingredients are locally sourced. On the hotel's doorstep is one of the country's best surfing beaches; a top links golf course.
