This is a great site, I have been coming for over 20 years and never tire of this area. The site is scrupulously clean and well kept. Large toilet and shower block, no set pitches in main camping field and loads of space. Good shop onsite open reasonable hours, laundrette and helpful staff in the office. The prices are great... We just love this campsite, clean, well run, great facilities with a good priced, well stocked shop. You will need a good tent to cope with the wind but if you give it a go you will be rewarded with amazing views as it is on an exceptional spot. If your not a fan of the large "club house" type... Its windy, but that's the price you pay for a view like this. Stunning. They famously don't take bookings but we were there a week in high season and I didn't see anyone turned away. Worth getting there lunchtime to get a level pitch from someone leaving as not all the tent pitches are level. Showers, laundry, shop, reception. All... More

This is an excellent location. In the camping fields (you can not pre-book these, but there is lots of room) you get the best of the views of the sea and coastline. Unfortunately, for the 2 nights we stayed they, it was very windy and rather dull; but when the sun shone through it was beautiful. Campsite reception were always... More

All of the electric hook-up sites were taken when we visited this site for a second time, as we love the area we turned up and went to their camping field, places in which you cannot book. We will definitely do this again as the views are spectacular, however if you are in a motor home make sure you have... More

What a find this place is!! A beautiful setting for a fantastic camping trip. The outstanding facilities were superb, staff lovely, shop amazing value and the local pub (The Chichester) served amazing food at very reasonable prices. All happy campers and will certainly return again.

Have always stayed at Easwell or Twitchen but very pricey during peak season (although excellent if you have younger children and love the entertainment on tap). This campsite was beautiful - magnificent views, camp shop with anything you may think of needing, clean and plentiful showers/toilets and flexible arrival/departing (we did Wednesday to Wednesday to avoid weekend travel). Very close... More

Excellent camp site, first time in a tent and we couldn't have found a better site. If you are after stunning views then this is the place, excellent for walking the south west coast path and for the local pubs. We will definitely be going back in the future.

lovely site, clean warm showers and toilets, shop on site to get most things. Has some amazing views. Great walks from the site. And it really is only a 5 minuets walk into the village. Which has three pubs all serving food.only down side is the road from the village to the site it really is very narrow with a... More
