We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 10 years. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the restaurant food maintains its high standard. The fishing is variable, depending on the weather and rainfall but we always enjoy our fishing here and the advice from the two resident fishing guides. more

Something for everyone here. Great food and wine in the restaurant. We enjoyed visiting the Eden Project, seeing the local scenery and the fishing (my 10 year old son had a fishing lesson from the staff on-site - thoroughly recommended). The staff were very helpful. We didn't realise they let dogs stay - next time we will know better ! more

We were one of four couples that had booked a 2 night stay at the hotel on a friday and saturday night for a wedding in Lifton on the saturday. Just spent a weekend at a wedding had my wife two son's plus girlfriends in tow. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
