WE have visite hope cove for many years, and enjoyed it imensly. unfortunatly after a short break from visiting this perfect seaside village we ventured back to find things had changed for the worse. the Lobster Pot had gone and you are left with one pub, " The Hope And Anchore" Avoid it like the plauge. the manager will treet... more

I visited the Hope and Anchor last week with my sister and her children, who wanted to take part in the weekly country dancing outside the pub. We recently spent three nights at The Hope & Anchor and came away with rather mixed feelings. The bedroom was imaculately clean, very nicely presented and comfortably furnished (with modern bathroom suite and flat screen TV).
