We have just spent three nights at this beautiful old mill house with our daughter and son in law. It is set in idyllic surroundings and perfectly located for exploring the stunning South Hams. Jeni and Stuart are genuine and natural hosts. They made us all feel immediately at home with a welcoming cream tea served in front of the... More

The photos and website do not do this place justice! The mill is decorated to perfection, with white company everywhere you look. Smells like a spa, even though you are in the middle of the country side! Beaches are within a short drive, and the hosts could not have been lovelier. Little surprises greeted us each day, with a great... More

Lovely property with a large comfortable guest lounge and plenty of loungers and chairs in the very pretty gardens to enjoy reading, chatting and the delicious scones with jam and cream that Jeni brings to you. Jeni and Stuart are delightful hosts, very helpful with maps and information about the area. Breakfast includes raspberries freshly picked from the garden; cooked-to-order... More

What can I say that hasn't been said already? We always look for B&Bs in preference to hotels because you get a far more personal experience and much more individuality in terms of decor and environment. Jeni and Stuart deliver on both fronts; indeed they 'out-deliver' if there is such a term. We have seldom stayed anywhere more historically interesting,... More

Our recent stay at Keynedon Mil was truly wonderful. The Mill is easy to find and provides easy access to all the South Hams while being wonderfully secluded. On arrival we were overcome by the beauty of the grounds and building and its tranquil setting. Jeni welcomed us and showed us to our relaxing, comfortable and beautifully decorated room. She... Spent four nights at this absolutely delightful B and B where our hosts Stuart and Jenni made us feel very welcome. The Mill has fantastic grounds full of many unusual plants, beautifully kept. Our room was spotlessly clean with coffee and tea and even a glass of port on offer. Our bathroom was stocked with shower gel and shampoo made... More

The Mill looked great on the website, and the reviews were excellent but the reality surpassed all our expectations. The bedrooms and guest spaces are beautifully appointed and if you feel as if you're staying in a Homes & Gardens shoot - you actually are. However, that doesn't mean you have to tiptoe around; you also feel as if Keynedon... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 7 day stay at Keynedon Mill. What a wonderful place. Jeni and Stuart are marvellous hosts. Every whim is catered for and the breakfasts were, quite simply, delicious. Fresh fruit every morning along with Yoghurt & Granola (homemade) and also a lovely fruit 'smoothie' - all perfect before the main course. Their hospitality... More

We have just returned from 4 wonderful nights at Keynedon Mill. This is a truly exceptional place with exceptional hosts. The whole place is sparklingly clean, has been renovated to the highest standard and decorated with flair and panache. The gardens are beautiful with many old-fashioned roses. Breakfasts were a delicious feast with every whim catered for using top-quality ingredients.... More

I booked this place as the reviews were all glowing and it was hard to get even a booking which I felt was a good sign. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Stuart showed us menus for the local eateries and offered a map. All a useful experience. The breakfast was great, lots of fresh and interesting fruit, a... More
